*Ivorys POV*

I was sitting around the house at 2:30 waiting on my dad. I had no clue how to explain any of this to him but I would try. After this I planned to go back to normal. I was still gonna be a total bad ass but I needed to get back home and in school.

No more safe houses and no more protection.

Most important though....I wanted a relationship....I wanted a relationship with Freddy Reese. I wanted to know him better before all of that though.

My thoughts were interrupted when my dad walked into the house with his  doctor scrubs on.

He saw me on the couch and smiled at me.

"Hey princess" he greets me with a kiss on the forehead.

I smile at him and wait for him to sit down.

"How is everything?" He asks.

"Dad I have something to tell you" I say.

"What is it?" He asks.

"Remember Victor Green?" I ask.

He nods and I start my story from there.

"He wasn't who we thought he was *oh boy here goes*....he raped me dad....a long time ago...when I was young.....Carter became my protection after the night he killed Conner ....Mom found out about it and I made her promise not to tell you...so dad please dont be mad at her....I just wanted to let you know Victor is back and we think he is after me again....Detective Thomas put me in a protection program...I dont wanna be in it....I can handle this" I say.

His face is blank.

He opened his mouth to say something but was quickly interrupted by the door opening and closing.

"Mareoa!?" My moms silk voice came out.

"In here" he says.

She walks in and when she sees me and him she gets a suspicious look.

"Whats going on?" She ask the serious side coming out of her.

"He knows mom" I say bluntly.

"If Victor comes anywhere near this family I better hear about it...Diamond I will talk to you later....but you two have to STOP hiding things from me...do I make things clear? " he spits with a hard tone.

My mom and I nod.

"Good....come on Diamond....we have cake tasting to do...Ivory..Lilly has been calling your phone for 3 minutes now....I think you should answer her....I will talk to you tonight...the only reason I'm calm is because I do not want your image of me to change...but just know he comes near you and I will kill him" he says getting up and placing his hands on my mothers waist.

They exit the house and I pick up my phone just in time to see the text messages and missed calls.

I open her text.

-getting a ride from Evan...Freddy is at football practice...think you can pick him up? He gets out at 4:00....coach wants to see you about volleyball tomorrow-
