If loose lips sink ships call me a coward.
I'll tie loose ends and pick up the pieces of this broken relationship.
I didn't think I'd make it through the night,
But here we are.
We shared the sand beneath our feet and the lies between our lips.
You were the siren that kept calling me into the rocks,
Waiting to devour me whole.
Crystalline catacombs fell silent on your ears,
Because you were too busy feeding your ego.
Nothing could ever satisfy you.
You drank the ocean dry and left my world as a desert.
I walk among the bones of old corals searching for any sign of life.
But you took more than you gave and instead of drowning me you left me to dry.
If loose lips sink ships maybe I never should have said "Hi."
Because every time I take a breath I am reminded of the life that you stole from me.
And I'm here to collect.
Every penny,
Every broken heart,
Every scar,
Every sleepless night,
And every salty tear drop.
I'll invite you in one last time,
So you can rip me open before you leave,
Letting the floodgates open.
Eventually I'll fill this desert with life again.
But I hope you know of the damage you've done.
Je suis l'océan, enculé.
