Chapter Eight- Santa Fe?

Brooklyn's POV-
Back in Manhattan, Spritz sits alone on the roof.
That's weird.
I crawl up and sit by her.
"Are you okay?" I ask
She nods, sniffling lightly.
I narrow my eyes.
"You don't sound fine. What's up?"
"Well, I.... I don't know.. I don't really want to be here anymore." She sighs
6 months ago, her and Crutchie left for Santa Fe.
But then they came back.
If she doesn't want to be here, why'd she come back?
"You know, you said that same thing when you left 6 months ago. Do you want to go back?" I ask softly
She shrugs
"I don't know anymore."
I hug her.
"Just know that whatever you decide, we're with you."
She returns my hug.
"Thanks, Brooklyn."
I smile, and then a though makes it fade.
"If you do go..... Would you go alone?" I ask
"I- I don't know.." She replies
"If Crutchie wants to stay, would you still go?"
"Maybe.."
I shrug.
"Somethin' to think about."
She nods.
"I- I kind of want to go too, but I don't want to leave you guys.." I sigh
"That's the same problem I have.." Spritz responds
"Yeah. All of you guys have been here for me since the beginning and I've been here for you.. I just don't want to leave you guys."
She smiles.
"You don't have to."
I hear two voices behind us.
I turn my head and see Blink and Crutchie walking towards us
"Hey, guys!" I wave
"Hey, Brooklyn. Hey, Spritz." Blink answers, giving me a small hug.
Crutchie sits by Spritz and puts his arm around her.
We all sit there in silence, the same thoughts about Santa Fe running through my head.
I'm sure the same thing with Spritz.
I ponder telling Blink, but I decide to later.
"Can we talk to you guys about something?" Spritz asks
I shoot a glance at her.
I know exactly what this is going to be about.
