Mina wanted to scream.

The frustration is that had been building up since Star had joined them was about to boil over as she spotted Laddie sat on her bike alone. She couldn't care less at what Max would say but it was time they got rid of her.

Fianna headed straight for the boy and stood next to Mina's bike allowing him to pet her soft fur. Laddie smiles under the attention of the German Shepherd.

Even the sight of her adoptive son smiling couldn't calm Mina's rage.

Star had been a mistake, one that Mina had finally had enough of. Not only did she refuse to feed but she left a little boy alone where Surf Nazis roamed. All she wanted to do was leave when she was responsible for getting herself into this mess. And if that meant killing Mina and her boys, she would do it happily.

Usually Mina could respect that but she really hated Star with a burning passion. Especially when she pulled a stunt like this.

"Ingerasul meu," she breathed into her adopted sons hair as she embraced him and lifted him to sit on her leather clad hip. He curled into her, his head in her neck hiding him under her wild hair. "Where is Star?"

Laddie whimpered at the girls name and Mina was ready to spill blood when she heard his heartbroken noise. The quiet growl coming from Fianna confirmed that she had a partner in crime in the hellhound. Abandonment was one of the only things that truly angered the romanian.

The young boy shrugged in response to the question and cuddled closer into his mother figure. He could sense her fury but didn't want her to get in trouble. Max would no doubt punish her for ruining his "perfect family".

Mina calmed her bloodlust to focus on Laddie. Her little angel was going to smile by the end of the night even if it killed her.

After grabbing some cotton candy and winning a plush toy from one of the games, the duo made their way towards the concert.

Fianna had spotted the boys and went to join them, knowing that they'd make a fuss of her. Mina also knew it was because of the concert, being a hellhound had heightened her senses even more and Mina knew Fianna hated the loudness. It was why she never really joined them on the boardwalk.

With one hand in Mina's hair, Laddie sat upon her shoulders with the newly dubbed Sir Fangs in his other hand. The plush bat toy had quickly caught his interest and the female couldn't resist his puppy dog eyes. Now the boy was smiling and letting out little bursts of laughter, Mina couldn't care less at the balant manipulation she knew he had learned from Paul and Marko.

At seeing the massive crowd, Mina immediately pointed to the hill so they could have a better view of the muscular saxophonist dancing around the stage. She could feel Laddie nod and they made their way upwards through the throng of bodies dancing.

Laddie tugged on her hair and pointed at their desired location to reveal the bitch herself. Star stood swaying to the music without a care in the world. Well, she did until she saw the duo. Her face immediately paled and she stood still. Once again had she abandoned her duties and Mina had been the one to catch her which only promised her pain.

The boy who had been trapped in her lure looked where Star was and was struck with a feeling he couldn't explain.

Mina however, knew from one glance in his direction.

Found another one boys, Mina sent to the group via their mindlink. He looks new to town too.

Despite wanting to stay and enjoy the music, Mina knew she had to deal with Star. With a jerk of her head, the vampire walked off. She knew Star was following her from her horrific scent. Perfume never could cover the stench of death but Star paid no attention and practically bathed in the scent of whatever she had.

Laddie once again gave Mina's hair a tug just as they approached the bikes so he could run over to Dwayne. The native man pulled the boy up behind him of his motorcycle and listened intently to the little boys retelling of his night.

Mina on the other hand, glared at Star. She slowed enough that the gypsy girl caught up with her and stopped her with an arm to the stomach. She didn't want her little boy to hear what she was about to unleash.

"What in hell were you thinking Star? This is the fifth time this week! He's a little boy and you abandon him when you know just as well as I do how the Surf Nazis see us. What if he had been hurt, huh? It would've been all on you. This is the last time! You should consider yourself lucky or I'd end your pathetic existence right now."

With that, she stormed towards the bikes. The boys had all heard her rant and were also fuming. She knew Dwayne was holding back for Laddie's sake, to which she was grateful for.

As she straddled her own bike, she noticed the boy from the concert had followed them. She gave him a wink and smirked at his light blush.

There he is.

Mina saw the boys all look in his direction and could feel their satisfaction as the teen seemed to blush even further under their gazes. It was easy to see that they liked what they saw. His dark curls were lit up by the lights of the boardwalk and his blue eyes appeared to glow as he studied them. He was tall, slightly more so than David and was easily identified as an athlete.

His gaze was broken as a younger teen came up behind him. His brother, if the group had to guess.

Star climbed on the back of David's bike, throwing a look of pity at the boy. It just showed the group how dense the girl could be. It was another reason they all wanted to be rid of her. She just didn't seem to understand anything to do with them.

I say we leave her with Max, David voiced up. Nobody disagreed and the group knew what to do. They now had a pitstop to make before heading to their home. Well two pit stops, since Paul had promised to get some pizza for Laddie the previous night.

Paul mentally groaned at the reminder and drove away. His howls and cheers never silenced, no matter his mood. Marko followed with Dwayne close behind. David gestured for Mina to go first to which she faked a swoon making the peroxide blond smirk. Both drove away with a parting glance to the curly haired teen who watched them leave with a sense of disappointment.

This was going to be fun.
