Did you feel those words slipping through your lips without emotion behind them? The eye contact as you express emotions but you sound like a record rather then a heartfelt voice .
That desperate need the other person feels for comfort and reassurance but you fill them up with emptiness at every word. You don't actually feel all those words that the other person feels .
But the desire to play someone like a piano couldn't be avoided , it fills you with joy from hearing every chord snap inside them. Until they no longer feel like a beautiful tune.
They spend every last minute building themselves a song they can call beautiful at the end of their lives .
Every lost word getting faded from their memory .
They open their eyes everyday after you've left but you've imprinted those words to their memory .
As much as they thought they had everything, they're left with emptiness.
Sitting at that door in the apartment waiting for their loved one to come home instead they're left with silence.
Silence kills louder then sound.
Their sobs fill that silence you gave them , until they stop sobbing .
They stop sobbing.
They stop getting emotional.
They stop thinking of you and every thought making their stomach drop.
They stop realising their emptiness.
But they don't stop remembering every lie.
You pulled their strings attached to the person but they finally snapped from your hold.
And fuck it felt better then the silence.
Only until that emptiness came back.
Lies.
