Traverse Town
Gula's pov - First district
I travel to the accessory shop going to visit Cid. I've been living in this world all my life, I get these weird dreams lately or was it memory. Anyways I'm here, I enter the shop "hey Cid" I call out to him. "Oh hey Gula what brings you today?" he asked. "It's my parents anniversary today and I want to get them something nice" I said taking out my munny pouch.
After getting the gifts I put my pouch away and began to leave "oh hey becareful Gula, the heartless have been more active lately" Cid called put to me "ok no problem" I said leaving. Getting outside I turned toward the door to the second district "hey, do you know a guy named Leon?" I turned around to see a toon who seemed so handsome though not much older than me.

No Gula get it together "Squall? He's usually patrolling the second district which is right through there" I said pointing in the direction I was going. "You guys aren't from around here but that's a given" I said noticing the other two toons behind him. I then remembered that I was suppose to patrol third district with father today.
"Well I got something to do so I'll see you around" I said heading toward the third district. "Wait, there could be danger around here" the young toon spoke again "it's ok I can handle myself, but if you want to come with me you can" I said. "Dad?" I look up toward the goofy looking older one as the young one calls for his attention. "Ok Maxie just becareful and meet me and Donald back here" he said.
I giggled a bit, Maxie, really? He looked embarrassed and started to follow me. I saw that the duck, Donald was his name right, looking a bit ruffled. If I had to guess he didn't like the idea. "So what do I actually call you?" I asked Maxie "oh I'm Max" he said holding out his hand "I'm Gula" I shook his hand and we continue walking.
Third District
We arrive and moved as a heartless soldier went flying past us and dissipate on contact on the wall. "Man they are annoying" a voice said and I smiled as I looked up at him "hello father" I said to the older man. "There you are son and who's your friend?" he asked "oh I'm Max sir" he said shaking my father's hand.

"I'm Patch, it's nice to meet a friend of my son" father said introducing himself.
Max pov
The one thing I noticed is Patch's mis matched eyes, his right eye is green while his left is blue. Wait he is Gula's father? "You must be confused on our relation, we get this a lot, father is married to dad" wait what two fathers? "Well that's ok I guess but aren't you adopted then?" I asked not able to hold back my curiosity. I expect them to glare at me but they just laughed.
"This isn't the first some one asked and it won't be the last" Patch said calming down "yeah dad was the one who carried me" did I hear that right, he was born from his dad? Oh boy I feel like a story needs to be told. "Watch out!" Patch shouted as he jumped over me and landed a kick on a shadowy thing, turning it into nothing.
Then more started to appear "keep your guard up Max, its the heartless" Gula said as a key like blade appeared in his hand.

Is that the key? It's gotta be and those shadows, so they're the heartless. I raise my shield "I'm ready" I said as one lunges at me but I blocked it and sent flying back with a bash. I watch as Gula swipes at the heartless and destroy them with the keyblade then "fire" he shot a fireball at the one taking it out. I bashed the last one toward Patch and he one punched it.
"We can't stay out in the open, let's get home" Patch said as we followed him.
