Before all of this even happened, so before even entering the ball room, I imagined walking in smoothly with this sort of cool aura around me and people just staring at me, while I come face to face with my brother and save him from whatever ruins he was going to fall into.

However, fate is undeniably offensive. I feel attacked. I spent a whole day in prison for defending someone. It was the afternoon of the next day, when I was actually allowed to go home. If it wasn't for Miss villainess explaining everything to the guards, I might've been executed... life is hard... I don't even clearly remember when everything started going wrong.

How is this even possible though? Kaith was the one, who was supposed to attack someone today and end up in prison, but somehow... I sort of took over his position in this whole event. 'ATTACKING' the prince, that was basically everything Kaith was supposed to do...
It's extremely weird that I lost sight of Kaith the moment something happened between the villainess and the heroine.

"Are you okay, my lady?" The maid, who was the one that escorted me to the ball said, while being completely drenched in tears.

"I'm completely fine~. Look, I can move my body perfectly fine and the people in prison were all nice people~!!!" I pointed out, as I kept doing strange postures with my body.

"You must've been scared *hic*...I should've known earlier that something happened *hic*... but instead I left you in such a horrible place all alone *hic*..." She continued to blame herself, while wiping her tears away with a handkerchief.

"..."

...I see, she was worried...Even if I didn't think much of this situation, I still went to prison and much worse, I could've gotten myself killed. I didn't think about anyone else but Kaith and lost sight of myself. Maybe it's because I'm still hung up in my previous life, but I feel out of place in this world. Living another person's life, as if it's my own and getting used to a world that is running differently to my own world. I should've thought more about my surroundings, because to these people...this person is important.

"I'm sorry for making you worried. I'm fine, so you don't have to cry so much~." I said with a gentle voice, as I smiled and patted her back softly.

The maid looked me in the eyes and turned entirely red.

"Awww~. Are you shy? Did you just fall for me~?" I laughed, as I made a playboys face, as if trying to flirt with a girl.

"I've been meaning to say this for a while, but please act more like a lady, my lady." The maid said while pouting a little and drying her last tears.

"Awwwwww~." I suddenly jumped on her and hugged her while snuggling myself against her.

"My lady!!!" She screamt while laughing.

When we arrived at the mansion, maids and butlers were both gathered around at the entrance, whereas some were even crying their eyes out. Midst all the chaos and confusion, I found one face sticking out more than the rest. My mother.
Whilst smiling calmly, you could feel a threatening atmosphere coming from her.

"Uh...I...I...I think I forgot something back at...at...in prison, right! I forgot something in prison, let's go back and get it!!! You see, it's very precious to me! My life depends on that one thing!!" I stuttered, while my hands were trembling and sweating nonstop.

Instead of answering, the maid quietly got off and reached her hand towards me while smiling.

Traitor!

I have a really REALLY bad feeling!
