Many hours have passed and all I've been doing is standing in a corner and watching over Kaith. Don't worry, I've already taken extra measures beforehand, so that I can fit into the crowd...more or less. Some men have gathered around me and have been flirting with me for the past few hours. To be honest, it's annoying and exhausting. If I could, I would just tell them who I am and put an end to their hopes and dreams, but I'm trying to hide my identity here, so that's a no go.
What's more frustrating though, is the fact that I don't know what is going on here. Kaith seems more than normal to me right now. This guy is smiling from ear to ear as if he is the most happiest man in the world.
[" Are you sure this man is gonna kill someone today?!"] I questioned myself many times, while swearing at the game producers for making everything so complicated and hard to understand.
The only thing I know is that Kaith will be exiled, if the heroine chooses the Casual Route.
I know it sounds extreme, but my guess is that, if the heroine chooses the Deep Route, Kaith will also be exiled, if she chooses the Mystic Route, Kaith will be executed and last but not least, if she chooses the Evil Route, Kaith will definitely be killed, if she doesn't pick him as a lover.
However, even if these guesses sound extreme, they make sense, if you think about it.
The Casual Route is made out of characters, from whom you wouldn't care about, if they died. Let's say Fines picks the servant from the Casual Route as a lover and Kaith tries to kill him at this ball. The only thing he would be exiled for, is for attempting murder at such a ball, where many royals and important figures are gathered. I've also heard that the second prince is an idiot, so I'm sure that if Fines were to beg him to spare my brother, he would definitely do it.
Then there's the Deep Route, in which there's not a single part of the royal family, at least, not an important one. I'm sure that Kaith will also get away with just being exiled.
The Mystic Route however, is different. The first prince and the neighboring country's crown prince are no joke. Attempting murder in this route will definitely lead to an execution, even if Fines begs with her eyeballs rolling out.
I'm also sure the Evil Route will lead to an immediate death. No doubt at all. You're dead, even if you look at them with your eyes closed.
"Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!" A loud scream was to be heard in the ball room.
What happened? Did I miss something?!
Without hesitation, I pushed the men blocking my view out of the way. I've never been this scared in my whole life before.
What if I missed the chance to save Kaith?!
