"Uncle LuLu?" who's kids are these? Does Lucas have another sibling get forgot to tell me about.

"Yeah, they're Jeremiah's kids." Lucas told me.

"Really?!" he nodded. I didn't peg Jeremiah as a person to have kids. But I don't really know him that we'll.

"We're twins!" they said excitedly. I smiled.

"This is Kitanya." he pointed to the one with the single blond streak in her chestnut brown hair.

"And this is Katya." he pointed to the other twin with the freckles dusted across her face.

"When they're together I call them Kit-Kat." Lucas said.

"Like the chocolate?" I questioned with a laugh.

"Exactly."

"Uncle LuLu, is she your mate?" asked Kit.

"Yes she is. How did you know?"

"Because daddy told us." answered Kat.

"You're pretty." Kit told me.

"Thank you."

"Will you make a pillow fort with us after lunch?"

"I'd be glad to."

"Lucas have you seen the girls? Oh." I turned my head to see a lady with blue eyes and brown hair. Her hair was straight and done in a fishtail braid. She was taller than me and most likely much older. Her beauty was stunning, and even I had to admit that she was attractive.

"Gwen. I want you to meet my mate Riley." Lucas told her. I waved shyly.

"Riley this is Jeremiah's mate Gwen."

"Nice to meet you. I see you've met the twins. They didn't cause you any trouble did they?"

"Not at all. I enjoy their company."

"That's because she's still a child herself." Jeremiah walked in the room snickering. The corner of my lip twitched upwards and I calmly stood up.

There was leftover flour on the counter so I gathers it up in my hand and walked in from of him. He raised an eyebrow and nodded slightly before tossing it in his face. He blinked rapidly and then huffed. The twins were the first to laugh followed be me, and then Lucas and Gwen. He took a towel and wiped his face.

"Touché." he said. My laughter died down just as the timer for the pizza went off.

"Pizza time!" shouted the twins. We sat down and ate, Lucas and Jeremiah telling of how they used to play a lot together when they were little.

"Come on!" Kit-Kat pulled me from the kitchen and into the living room as soon as we had finished eating.

Lucas POV

"She's pretty. A bit childish though isn't she?" Gwen said to me as we washed the dishes. I looked at her.

"Is being childish a crime or something?"

"No. How old is she?"

"16."

"Lucas that's a 5 year age difference."

"So? I don't mind and neither does she." did everyone have a problem with my mate?

"How did she act when you told her you were a vampire?" what was with the sudden interrogation?

"She was excited." Gwen turned surprised eyes to me and put down the sponge.

"There's only one group of people that believe in vampires, and that because they kill us."

"The hunters. Yes I'm aware. But she can't be one of them. She's too innocent." I argued. She gave me a skeptical look.
