dear diary,

my heart still hasn't calmed down from today. i told you yesterday that san invited me over to play video games. it was amazing.

we had so much fun and i put aside the fact i had a crush on him and saw him as my best friend. however, i'm home now and my crush on him is back.

you'll never guess how today went, obviously, so i'll tell you:

today was the day seonghwa was going to play video games with san. his heart raced at the thought.

from the moment he woke up, he was in a bright mood. he quickly freshened up and went downstairs to eat breakfast with his mom.

it was 11am but seonghwa didn't mind having a late breakfast with his mom.

he took his time eating and enjoyed every bit of his food. his mother was just staring at him and was happy that seonghwa found happiness.

although, it worried her because she didn't want him to get hurt. if san didn't like seonghwa back, she'd be more heartbroken than her son. she only wants the best for him.

she was so caught up in her thoughts that she didn't realise that seonghwa had already eaten and was ready to go. she took a bite out of her food and it was cold.

seonghwa noticed her reaction to her food and realised what was wrong. he took her plate and put in the microwave.

she just looked at him and smiled. she was grateful that she raised such a polite young man.

seonghwa headed towards the door and turned back to look at his mother.

"i'm going to san's house! bye!" he cheered.

"have fun," his mother chuckled, giving him an eye smile, "and tell me if anything happened between you two."

seonghwa and his mother had a close relationship with each other. he was comfortable with telling her all of his secrets and she listened well to all of them.

it also just happened to be that his older brother developed a close relationship with their father.

seonghwa waved to his mother and left the house. he took his phone and earphones out and started to listen to some music.

he scrolled down his music list and selected a song he had found out about recently, through choi san.

the lyrics of the song fit his current situation. although, it was a one sided love and only seonghwa felt this way.

san and seonghwa were best friends. everyone knew that. however, the way they act around each other is unusual, which is why seonghwa feels as if he can relate to the song's lyrics.

he walked to the bus stop that would have a bus that will take him to san's house.

when his bus came, he got on and sat at the back, near the window. as the bus drove to the next few stops, seonghwa stared out of the window and was only thinking of one thing. choi san.

there was no doubt that he was in love with the younger boy. he just couldn't help but fall even deeper when he's around or when his simple actions make the boy's heart flutter.
