Mia dropped her phone, as a small smile appeared on her face. She was seeing Mattia again, and that made her whole night. The dinner was quite disappointing, as her food-workers were quite annoying. She made an excuse as to why she had to leave early. It was currently around eight thirty.

She glanced down at her outfit, well, pajamas, she wore a pair of boxer shorts, along with a hoodie and her fuzzy socks. She liked heading to bed comfortable. She sat on her bed, glancing around her room. Where will he sleep? She then sighed in relief once she noticed her couch, a small one. It wasn't a sofa bed, but it was good enough for a figure to sleep in.

A few minutes later, a knock was heard on the front door of her apartment. How'd he get here so fast? She asked herself. She figured he probably lived a few blocks away, strolling towards the front door, a smile still on her face, she opened the door, revealing Mattia.

He leaned against the doorway, wearing the same hoodie he wore the last time they met, although, he had a different pair of jeans, this time, they were ripped. She noticed his hair being quite messy, which she found attractive.

"Are you done checking me out?" Mattia spoke up, immediately getting Mia's attention. Her face was quickly flustered, she looked like a tomato.

"I wasn't—" She replied, in which in return Mattia gave her a look, "Okay, you look..." She struggled to find an appropriate word. Mattia chuckled, as he gripped onto a gym bag, which she assumed was filled with his clothes.

"May I come in?" He asked, Glancing down at her lips, before licking his own. Mia quickly nodded her head, opening the door wider for him. He gently walked in, taking a look around her apartment, he couldn't help but notice a bunch of picture frames that were placed on top of a shelf that was filled with books. He frowned to himself. He've always wanted the perfect family.

"Uhm—" Mis struggled to find the proper words to introduce him to her house. Mattia noticed and placed a hand on her back, as she led him to her room, "I could sleep in the couch while you can take my bed?" She suggested. Mattia chuckled to himself and shook his head.

"No," he shook his head, running a hand through his messy hair, "I'll take the couch." He sent her a reassuring smile, before placing down his gym bag on the hard wooden floor. He took a minute to analyze her room, his eyes stopped at a bunch of picture frames of her family, once again, he frowned to himself before putting his attention back on Mia

"So I uh—" Mia didn't know what to do, or what he wanted to do. She didn't know what to say, as it is their second time together, face to face. Another thing about Mia, she is quite the introvert and hated being put in a place where you must socialize with others.

"Can I kiss you?" Mattia suddenly asked, strolling towards her, before he grabbed her hand and interlocking their fingers together, "Again?" He put his forehead against hers, as they were millimeters away from each-others faces.

"Yes." She softly replied, And within seconds, Mattia smashed his lips against hers. He deepened the kiss and gently pushed her against the bed, instantly hovering over her. Mia was enjoying every second of it, as she wrapped her arms around his neck, she ran her fingers through his blackish hair, "Mattia." She moaned into the kiss. Her heart skipping several beats.

"Hm?" He mumbled into the kiss, before moving his lips down to her neck. Mia's fingers were still tangled into his hair, as she slowly ran her fingers through them. Mattia began slowly to mark his area, on the young girl's neck, "What is it?" He asked her, glancing up at her as he moved his lips back to hers.

"Take it off," Her hands tugged onto the sleeves of his hoodie. At that moment, his heart dropped. He didn't want her to see what was beneath it, what as beneath his hoodie. His scars. He parted his lips, about to say something, but was cut off, "Please." His jaw was tightened.

Did he really want to?

His heart skipped a beat, as it began to beat at a rapid fast pace, "I-I can't." He shook his head, but he did want too, he trusted her. He saw the flash in Mia's eyes. He let out a heavy but yet shaky breath. He gulped, before slowly slipping his hoodie over his head.

Mia's gasped, as her heart skipped beats. She doesn't react, Mattia knew that she already knows about his scars, and most importantly, his past, "How long?" That was all that came out from her mouth, after several seconds of silence. Mattia stayed silent, his eyes connected into hers, his jaw is yet tightened, "Can I tell you something?" She asked. Mattia was yet in silence, but nodded his head.

"Your hearts intentions show you where you're going...." She paused, Mattia knew exactly where she was going at, "And the physical scars show you where you've been." She told him. Mattia looked away, staring at the window, as his attention was now on the moon. He took a second to observe the darkness, as he saw the many stars that covered the sky.

"Mia...." Mattia started. He so badly wanted to tell her those three little words. Yes. He have fallen in love with her, not just her beauty and the outside of her beautiful soul, but her heart, Mia looked at him, in question, waiting to see what he's about to say, "I-" He paused, licking his lips, "I think I'm in–" Suddenly, the sound of thunder was heard. Mattia mentally cursed himself.

"Let's head to bed." Mia whispered, before gently pushing Mattia off of her. The rain started to pour, as it was heard against the window. Mattia nodded his head, he wondered if she knew what he was about to say, but he hoped she didn't. He wanted to wait for the perfect time, and maybe the sound of thunder was a sign that he should save it for another time.
