Once Hisoka and I found out way out of that maze along with 98 applicants. We were told the phase is over a tall man with dark brown hair came to us and said that the next phase is a quiz game he's gonna ask us. I got pretty excited and the clown was chuckling. The others were noisy until the man spoke again
-"the quiz is if you are in danger and face a strong opponent you doubt that you can beat what would you do?".
Well it seemed easy but everyone went silent.
-" I doubt someone like that exists actually". Hisoka cut that silence
I simply chuckled at his answer. The examiner said
-"well what if the girl next to you is actually the opponent you're going to fight?".
Hisoka chuckled and said
-"Nah, I'll never fight her although she's strong and all".
-"well... just answer the quiz already!"
-"I'll kill him~".
The examiner chuckled a bit and looked at me
"And you?"
"I'll surely have some fun. Y'all know it's rare to find someone strong like myself".
"That's pretty arrogant for a little girl". He said looking at me weirdly.
I only felt some aura coming from Hisoka. I only pretended I didn't know Nen so I'd avoid any problems.
-"you two passed. A hunter should always fight no matter what happens and what he is facing. the rest will get a different quiz you may leave".
What ? It was this easy? Well I saw that bean who gave us the tags in the first phase and he asked us to follow him and We did so. As we walked I asked Hisoka
"Why did you say you'll never fight me? Am I not strong enough to fight you?"
He looked a bit surprised but said
"That's not it. I simply feel something other than the urge to fight towards you. I'll wait to understand what it is first"
I looked at him confused. I didn't understand a thing. He suddenly asked me a question that got me out of confusion.
" Are we friends (Y/N)?"
"Yea probably... I never had friends before so I don't know for sure"
"Oh..."
What a great reaction Mr clown really great ya know...
