A/N: First and foremost, I'd like to thank everyone for reading my story. I'm a huge Maeve and Otis shipper, but I'd like for Otis to experiment with other girls. He deserves a better storyline than just being a sex kid who pins after Maeve. Watch the video above for Otis and Ruby scenes.

P.S. The rest of this story will not be formatted like this. It will contain paragraphs, but for the sake of this prologue I decided to just include the conversation between Otis and Ruby.

****************************************

"Can- can I ask you a question, Ruby? Like a very serious one...."

"Uh, you just did sex kid. Although, I wouldn't fall it a serious question. It was more a nervous stutter of a question if anything."

"That's because I'm really nervous, Ruby. If I'm being honest..."

"Nervous? Of me? Otis, you don't have to be. I don't bite... much. Now spit it out, sex kid. I don't have all day you know."

"Fine. I just... wanted to ask you if I was okay. You know at the sex bit? It was kind of my first time."

"You're a virgin?!"

"Well I was..."

"You weren't great, but you weren't terrible. You kept asking me if I was okay."

"It's important to check in."

"It was every ten seconds."

"Oh, I'm sorry."

"Don't be. At least you cared enough even in your drunken state to ask."

"So what now?"

"Now we go back to being strangers to one another, until I need your advice."

"Oh. Okay. I was just checking."

"I mean, don't get me wrong. You're a sweet guy Otis, but you're not popular."

"Trust me, I know."

"If we were seen together, it would ruin my social standing and probably yours too."

"How would it ruin mines?"

"Think about it, Otis. While you don't have nearly as much friends or popularity as I do, I doubt the few friends you do have, would like seeing you with me."

"They wouldn't care as long as I'm happy."

"Ugh, so I guess you're going to make me spell it out for you then. Maeve, Otis. Maeve. I don't think your friend and crush Maeve, would be happy to see us together."

"Well luckily for you, she isn't my friend right now, but if she were I doubt she'd mind."

"That's what they would say to spare your feelings Otis, but truth is they would hate it. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't want you dating a bitch."
