"When I'm sad I make out with nerdy boys."
"Why nerdy boys?"
"Because they think they're in love with me. Which feels amazing, until they get clingy and wanna show me all of their things."
"I don't think I'm in love with you."
"Sure you don't."

A/N: Dedicated to @IsadorarichelRichel and @Rosschell for last chapter's comments. I don't know I don't update often, but I'll try to be more frequent in between my work schedule and personal life. Also, chapter 11 has been completely rewritten with way better content, so feel free to check it out if you want more content.
Some scenes and words may differ from the episode (Series 2, episode 8) this is based on. I have taken full creative control, so enjoy mofos.

Sometimes I ask myself If I ever really liked you Or did I simply Fall in love with the idea of you.
We were friends first So why couldn't things stay that way? Why'd you have to Make things complicated And make me gain feelings?
I'm not good with feelings. Especially those that are my own. Ask around baby, I'm a heartbreaker through and through.
And yet you told me you liked me And I told you I liked you So why aren't we together? What should we do?
We started off as friends Now we're something more Less than a relationship, But still something worth fighting for.

Maeve's P.O.V.
AND WHEN I STEPPED OUT in the bright morning light, I had only two things on my mind. Death and a letter. The trailer park today reeked of the roadkill lying helplessly a few feet over. Someone needed to clean that up, because it most definitely wouldn't be me.
I also found a single letter outside of my doorstep which was particularly weird in my situation. I didn't get letters. Only bills, but everyone knows bills always come in a pair at least especially when you're as broke as I am.
This letter was different though. It didn't have the seal of a billing company or a scholarship letter. It looked personal and somehow awkward even, written with chicken scratch handwriting.
And it said nothing on the front besides:
PLEASE READ WHEN YOU'RE ALONE.
Pfft, like I'd take advice from a mysterious note with chicken scratch handwriting.
So you know what I did, I took it to school. I decided that instant I'd read on my first block and then put it of my mind. It's probably nothing important anyways. If anything it might be Isaac (wheelchair dude) playing a prank on me.
"Good Morning, students unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I, your beloved Headmaster Groff, won't be returning for your next semester term. With that being said, don't expect to be getting away with slacking off. I am still your headmaster come last day of school so please for your sakes try to be on your best behavior. Alright I'm done, back to your studies. Sharon, turn this stupid thing off will you? Oh I'm still on? Wait-"
