Namjoon made sure to knock before opening the door. When he did, the 6 students and principal looked at him.

"At last," the principal got up from her seat. "The last one is here."

"Okay," Taehyung spoke. "What are we doing here?"

The principal, Adora, looked at him. "You all are the top 7 at this school, correct?"

The boys nodded, waiting for Adora to continue.

"Do you guys remember the attack on Galia three years ago?" Adora asked.

"Because of all the negative energy in the area, it attracted beasts," Jimin explained. "Then the whole city was crashing down because of them."

"Exactly," Adora nodded. "You also heard that beasts weren't the only ones who attacked them that night, correct?"

They nodded.

"Now do you know why they attacked Galia?"

The boys stayed silent. A loud sigh came from one of them, and they turned to him.

"Why are you even telling us this?" Jungkook asked. "The threats gone-"

"No," Adora shook her head. "The threat isn't gone. They ran away. They are still out there."

"You were the one who mentioned in your speech at the beginning of the year. 'We're in a time of peace,'" Taehyung quoted her. "And you said that it's our job to keep it that way."

She frowned. "I know, but we're being threatened by a force of pure evil. His name is Siren. He's the creator of beasts, and he's planning something, something big."

"Like what?" asked Jimin.

"Getting rid of everyone's ability, so he can be the only person with abilities on this planet."

Another silence, companied with heavy tension.

"What?" asked Jin. "What even is his ability?"

"Abilities," corrected Adora. "We don't know all of them. But we know a few."

"Okay," Namjoon nodded, "then what is it?"

"Creation, super speed, super strength, levitation, and that's all we know."

"You make this Siren guy sound like he's immortal," Jin let out a nervous chuckle.

"Well," Adora sighed out. "He's human."

"So why're you telling us this?" Jungkook inquired. "We're just academy seniors. What do you expect us to do?"

"I expect you all," she gestured to the boys. "To join my group of licensed mages after graduation. From then on, you'll be working together to defeat Siren."

"What are you guys thinking of doing?" Seokjin asked the rest of the boys after Adora kicked them out of her office.

"She thought we were fit to stop this 'force of pure evil,'" said Namjoon. "So of course I would do it."

"Well isn't that ambitious of you?" Hoseok commented.
