The sparring had begun.

Namjoon was the first to throw a punch at Hoseok, being that he was pretty much aggravated by the others attitude towards him. He wanted to teach him a lesson, show him that he wasn't top student just because. Hoseok of course just liked provoking him, and seeing what that'll do.

Yoongi relied more on his magic during the fight, being that was the only thing he believed he was good at. Seokjin saw Yoongi as an easy opponent, seeing how small the boy was, and how he lacked any muscle.

With a kick to the stomach, Seokjin pushed Yoongi into the boys sparring next to them. Hoseok and Namjoon. Yoongi's back hit Hoseok's side.

"Outta the way," Hoseok grunted, pushing Yoongi off him before throwing a punch at Namjoon.

To Taehyung and Jungkook's surprise, Jimin was doing a hella good job at fighting them. Though, Jungkook of course was much stronger than them. He lifted up Jimin, before throwing his body to Taehyung's.

"Watch it!" Taehyung yelled.

"You're not the one who just got manhandled!" Jimin punched the side of his arm.

Somin let out a frustrated sigh as she watched the chaos in front of them. "These guys are strong, no doubt. But..."

"Their teamwork is shitty," Mathew groaned, before whistling. "Enough!"

They stopped their fighting and yelling, turning to Mathew with confused expressions.

"If you guys are gonna be working together, you gotta get along," Mathew said, giving them disappointed looks. "You guys are gonna be fighting against the most powerful mage in this planet. If you're gonna keep acting like this, you're gonna get yourselves killed."

Killed. The word was unfamiliar in their ears, but they knew what it meant. Until now, they were just academy students. They were just living their lives, going to school, eating, sleeping, hanging out with friends. And they did it without a care in the world.

Saying that word gave them a reality check. They've only heard stories about Siren, but from what they've heard, they've learned how merciless he and his minions were.

And they were now realizing that being on this team, will risk their lives.

"Honestly," Mathew shook his head. "Maybe we should punish you guys."

"Punish us? We're academy students, not fucking kindergarteners," Seokjin remarked.

"But you act like fucking kindergartners," Seph cursed. "So we'll punish you like ones. Follow me."

And they did. They followed them into the school building, and they led them into an empty classroom.

"What're we doing here?" Namjoon asked, looking around the room before turning to the four.

"You're gonna be spending the night," Mathew answered.

"Spending the night?!" Taehyung exasperated. "I can't do that. Where am I gonna sleep?"

"The floor?" Jiwoo shrugged.

"What's the point?" asked Hoseok.

"The point is for you guys to grow closer," Somin explained. "Easy."

"This is useless," Hoseok muttered under his breath.

"You say that now, but you'll thank us later on."

"What makes you so sure?" Jungkook asked.

She smiled, "because we were exactly like you guys," she said before leaving the other three. But not before locking the door from the outside.

Seokjin groaned out loud, "This is you're fault we're here!" he pointed at Namjoon, Hoseok, Taehyung, and Jimin. "Because you guys fight all the damn time!"

"That's not entirely true," Jungkook disagreed. "You're no different."

"You always give us attitude when we call you 'Jin.' What's wrong with that? It's a nickname," Taehyung rolled his eyes.

"Nicknames are what friends give each other. We aren't friends."

"That's why I gave you a nickname!" Taehyung exasperated. "Because I thought doing that would make us friends! I thought we all could be friends!"

That kind of made Seokjin feel bad.

"Oh."

"Well, Mathew is right," Namjoon spoke. "Arguing and fighting with each other can get us killed. Professional mages don't do that."

"Wow," Hoseok scoffed. "You're agreeing with someone for once."

"Shut it, horse face."

"Egghead lookin' ass," Hoseok retaliated.

"Guys!" Seokjin raised his voice with his ability to gain their attention. "We don't always have to be talking. I read somewhere that silence can be a way of bonding."

"Fine by me," Yoongi shrugged before going to the farthest corner to sit. He closed his eyes.

"I'm pretty sure that's the first time I heard him talk," Taehyung whispered.

"That's because you never listen to our conversations," Jimin hopped onto the desk, swaying his legs back and forth. He stopped when his stomach suddenly rumbled. His face flushed of embarrassment.

The last time he ate was during lunch, and even then he didn't eat enough.

Jungkook dug his hand into his pocket, pulling out a protein bar.

"Here," he threw it at Jimin, who was off-guard but still caught it thanks to his quick reflexes. "Something for you to snack on."

"Thanks," Jimin nodded, ripping it open, and devouring it.

Namjoon went over by the windows, putting on his earbuds as he looked at the sky. Hip hop songs played on his playlist as he hopped his head to the music. Seokjin giggled a bit at Namjoon, before sitting at the desk in the middle of the room to do his homework.

30 minutes later, Yoongi was knocked out in the corner. A jacket was over his body. Hoseok sat on the other side of the room, across from Yoongi. He had passed out as well.

Namjoon was now laying down with a jacket over his head, his music still playing in his ears. Seokjin finished his homework, so he was now resting his head on the desk as he gazed out the window in pure boredom.

Taehyung, Jungkook, and Jimin found a board game while they were snooping in the cupboards, so they decided to play.

It was called board game for a reason. Not because it was on a board, but because they were bored. Get it?

"They aren't doing anything, except for those three," Jiwoo watched over then through the cameras in the room.

"Give them some time," Somin suggested. "It took a while for us to finally get along as well. This was just the start."

Jiwoo nodded. "Yeah. Guess you're right."

"When am I not?" she smirked.
