     Saturday.

The sun held a rose, standing in front of the starlight's door. He was nervous, pacing back and forth.

"What if he doesn't like me back....? Crap...I would have to change apartments....-"

"Haechan...?" Mark was next to him now, pointing to his door. "I was..was..out..."

"Oh! Well um..." He chuckles nervously, holding the rose behind his back. "I just wanted to hang out, I guess!" They both were blushing and panicking, trying their hardest to keep eye contact.

"Ah...w-we could do that, I suppose." The other whispers, as red as a tomato.

     "Great!"

————————

Handing over the rose, Haechan blushes and looks away. The flower was lipstick red, its' thorns removed completely. Haechan's hands were all bandaged up, so he seemed to match with Mark. They were in Mark's apartment, sitting on his purple couch. And, the rose appeared to glisten. So did Haechan's eyes, who was expecting a rejection.

"Thank you, but..." Mark examined the flower before tucking it behind Haechan's ear, a small smile plastered onto his face. "I think you should have it"

Donghyuck hid his face in his hands, his face as red as the rose. He tried not to scream. This was awkward and confusing as much as it was exciting and adrenaline-filled. Both were speechless.

The other tilted his head slightly, his scarred hand reaching out and being placed on Haechan's shoulder. It was an awkward choice, but the sun found it cute. Hesitantly putting his hands down, Donghyuck looked shyly towards the starlight, who was just as shy.

Lee Donghyuck removed Mark's hand from his shoulder, his fingers intertwining with the other's scarred ones. Something seemed to click.

The two worlds exploded with color and flavors they had never tried or seen before. It was almost headache-inducing, this feeling. Like their brains were flooding with Cola? Haechan pulled his hand away in unison with Mark, the sparks in between screaming for some sort of attention. Both startled, they turn forward, talking to themselves. Donghyuck was mumbling something about how it was 'never meant to be' and that this was a 'mistake' while Minhyung was having an epiphany. Someone liked him. And he liked them back.

Haechan stared at the other. Mark's head was down, tears streaming down his face. His grip, tight on the couch cushions, like this all was too much to handle. To be honest, it probably was. This was a very exciting moment. Haechan wrapped his arms around Mark's body (mind you, awkwardly), wiping his tears away.

     "Hyung, it's okay."

"I don't want to hurt you..."

     "You won't hurt me, Mark."

     "But what if I d-do? I don't want that. I d-on't want you to end up like m-me. I can't have that. I can't."

"Hey, hey. Look at me." Haechan lets go of Mark and lift his head, looking him in the eyes. A certain spark moved deep inside them, ready to strike at any moment. But, they didn't care. Especially not Haechan. "You won't hurt me. And even if you do, I know you didn't do it purposefully. You're safe. It's okay, Mark. Let yourself relax because you have nothing to worry about."

Mark was shocked. Literally. At that moment they were both electrically shocked. Flinching back, Haechan let out a small wince of pain. He had never felt this before. In fact, he rarely ever got hurt. It was like he was made of luck and steel, while Mark was left with just the scraps. The Sun's vision blurred for a little while, eventually coming back, but with the side effect of a headache. Mark didn't seem bothered by that. He must be used to the pain. But something told him that even though he wore a face that spoke unbothered, the other was in horrible pain. Pain that couldn't and wouldn't be described.

Pain that would never be described.

My sun, my starlight,
It's not quite over yet.
We still hold our sin,
Regrets from the past, but still,
Our dear Moon rocks us to sleep
