Book References

So, back when I was in the middle of writing this story, I had asked some people about promoting their books via referencing their book as another book in this story. The idea behind it was the fact that I didn't want to keep referencing my own books (whether they'd be published or not) or create little stories that these characters have read. Call me lazy, but that's too much work. Call me insecure, but I didn't feel comfortable referencing my own work all the time. Hence the request to use others books as references.

Plus, I thought this would be a neat idea to give people a chance to uniquely promote their books that might not ever get the chance to do that.

While writing, I did do one thing to every book I mentioned and that was changing something about them. I don't mean the storylines themselves as much as I mean the book title or the author's name. I did this because I referenced one of my own books under a false pseudonym, and I wanted to keep that style up to give people a chance to see if they could still recognize the book or author mentioned. Here, I will give the books/authors mentioned in the storyline in alphabetical order.

Brandi Evans: The author mentioned here is EeveelutionBrandi and the book that was talked about is The Kirlia Girl.
Genre: Pokéfic, Slice of Life
Fun Facts:
•The Name Brandi Evans is a nod to the username EeveelutionBrandi.
•The Kirlia Girl takes place in the Delta Emerald universe.
•While a short summary was given earlier, this story follows Wanona Petal, who is famous for opening contests in outfits resembling the Kirlia line. However, things aren't always as they seem, especially since Wanona has a huge secret.

Celeste Schreiber: The author mentioned here is blue___22 and the book that was mentioned is The Flying Ranger.
Genre: Drama, Myster, Pokéfic,
Fun Facts:
•The name Celeste Schreiber means Blue Writer. Celeste being a shade of blue while Schreiber means writer in German. This is a nod to author's username.
•There are events in the book that are based on real events, but those will remain a mystery.
•Wendy Voela is famously known as the Flying Ranger and is a great Pokémon Ranger. One day, she goes missing, leaving behind a letter of resignation. Sven Alba, Wendy's partner, doesn't accept this and tries to figure out what happens.

Spinarak-Man: Power and Responsibility: This book is actually called Spider-Man: Power and Responsibility by CameronWinkler
Genre: Action, Coming of Age, Drama, Science Fiction, Spider-Man Fanfic.
Fun Facts:
• The title stayed the same for the most part, but changed Spider-Man to Spinarak-Man to tie into the Pokéfic.
• There is a prequel called The Fantastic Four; however, it doesn't need to be read before reading this particular book.
• This book is about Peter Parker who is feeling guilty for the death of his uncle. Despite all this, he is trying to figure out how to take care of his aunt, figure out his life, and being Spider-Man. Things don't seem to be looking up for Peter though as Mysterio wants revenge.

Summers' Books: The Swanna Girl and Braviary Man Trilogy by me, JunieWeathers
Genre: Action, Drama, Miscellaneous, Pokéfic.
Fun Facts:
•The pen name Summers is a nod to my own pen name: Weathers.
•How the characters felt about these books was exactly how I felt when writing it (yes, the good and the bad as I realize there's much to improve upon).
•To those who don't know, the Swanna Girl and Braviary Man trilogy follows the story about a girl named Sylvia Gray, who becomes Swanna Girl after realizing how much danger Unova is truly in. Each book, she faces a different group of villains, meets new people along the way, and faces new challenges that becomes more difficult as the series go on.
