Sweet Vengeance

Yearning

"Prepare for your ultimate demise...Garu." The masked ninja laughed. It was another sunny day in Sooga Village, and once again Tobe and Garu had encountered. Garu was accompanied by one of his close friends, Abyo, as they had just finished sparring, and were heading back to the small village. He always hated Tobe being behind his back all the time, although it was much more tolerable than having it to be pucca. Garu shivered at the thought

"Here we go again..." Abyo shook his head, "c'mon Garu, it's not like he's actually gonna do anything." His friend grunted in agreement. The two turned their backs on the ninja and continued their walking. Tobe's face turned beet red in frustration. "F-fine! Go walk back to your stupid girlfriend! S-see if I care!" But of course, they ignored him. "Grrrr...oh who am i kidding...I can't do this." The ninja muttered a bit sadly.

"Boss? Boss...BOSS!" Tobe nearly stumbled over. He had been spacing out right in the middle of a testing one of his newest technology to defeat Garu. "H-huh? Oh, right um..what?"
"I was just asking you, what do you think about the-boss? are you even listening?" One of Tobe's ninjas asked worriedly. The ninja eyed his boss up and down. "Oh....Oooh I see. You must be thinking about that boy Garu, aren't you?" They stated as-a-matter-of-factly. "O-of course!" Tobe stammered in response.

"No no, I mean, you're thinking about him, not about destroying him." The ninja inspected him closely. The sweat on tobe's forehead made it unbearable to wear his mask, but it was the only thing hiding the redness on his cheeks. The other ninjas stopped what they were doing to take a good look at what was going on. "W-what are you looking at? Get moving!" Tobe screeched. The ninjas immediately got back on task. Tobe crossed his arms. How do these fools dare try to interfere with my own thoughts? Tobe thought.

For a while, He has not been able to think clearly. Hell, he couldn't even stop thinking about the pigtailed ninja. stupid garu...being a stupid distraction. Although, he remembered, he did just choose Garu to be the one he'd strike "vengeance" on randomly, he was so bored! but with each fight, he had realized that the ninja's fighting skills were so quick, precise, almost perfect... And when they had accidentally got stuck together for a whole day, they were both so...in sync. Tobe pretended to hate it, but grew fond of Garu and found his company quite soothing, almost...enjoyable. It was much better than his own place, to say the least, but when they separated, it was just like a switch had turned inside of him. In truth, Tobe did not want to seem weak, someone who needed someone else in order to remain happy, dependent. Shit. Tobe hated being so lost and confused.

Tobe has tried explaining this confusion multiple times, so that he would get it off his chest. But each time he saw him, he would panic, and converted the encounter to multiple fights, usually with him loosing. Although, sometimes he did intentionally want to seek a fight with Garu. For the sake of keeping their enemy status clear. Not to mention, he was a bit, well, afraid of the girl that has also been chasing Garu around. He has endured many of her beatings, and he wouldn't dream of getting in the way of her and Garu. Pucca, always sticking by Garu's side. An idea sparked in his head. What if...well what if they just got stuck again?

"But we just started working on this project, boss!"
"Oh, forget about that silly idea," Tobe stated plainly. "I have something much...better." The ninjas sighed and groaned as they now had done a ton of work all for it to be canceled out of nowhere. "Well, let's hear it then, boss." the ninja stated grimly. Tobe grinned widely, with dimples starting to make their way onto the corners of his mouth. "Remember when Garu and I ultimately got uh, stuck? Well, it turns out, um, this provided lots of information useful enough to eliminate him..." The ninjas knew where this was going. "And how are we supposed to do this again?" Tobe was surprised by this, and thought for a moment. "Hmm, well last time the stupid fat man layered our clothes with a sticky...quite delicious substance...I'm sure was just some candy...now that i think about it i'm not sure how it got there-" Tobe cleared his throat, "ANYWAY, you'll come up with something, won't you?" Tobe's ninjas looked at eachother in confusion, they hadn't been paying attention to anything he had just said.

"Okay okay okay, he said something about getting him and Garu stuck together, right? Oh c'mon you didn't hear anything?" One of the ninjas asked. Everyone muttered amongst themselves. Unfortunately, nobody heard a word of what their leader said. "We must do something...we all know he's not doing this for his 'vengeance', right?" the rest of the ninjas murmured to eachother in agreement. "Yeah, i've been trying to tell him...he just won't listen. We want to make boss happy, right? We'll work up something, got it?" The ninjas cheered, but they really didn't know what they were doing. a distant voice in the back of the room interjected. "Wait what are we talking about?"
