X's P.O.V
'It was almost like falling into a pit of wonders. I saw for the first time the different timelines of the object universe. I barely recognised any of them! It was a purple and green colour and seemed to be an endless road. At the end of the portal was a white and yellow glow. Suddenly something teleported in front of us. Evil Leafy. It didn't attack us, and any attempt to scream was drowned out by an invisible force. Four was oddly calm about it. Then it passed us and disappeared into the white void, and something had pushed us back-'
Then she hugged me. I heard soft crying behind me, and I couldn't help but hug back. We stood there for ages as we both sat and sobbed about it. She understood, thank goodness! After a few minutes, we pulled away and her eyes literally looked red from crying, even though they were fully black ovals.
'Well, did anyone survive?' She asked hopefully.
I replied pitifully, 'Well yes, but not many people. Only 8 survived the stampede, one person from each team.'
She looked devastated. She asked, 'Can you please at least let me go find them!?' I knew that she couldn't. Last time I was up there the 8 all scrambled into different directions carrying the bodies of their friends. Then she frowned.
She grumbled, 'Wait, couldn't Four just bring them back like Pencil said he could?'
'Well, not exactly. he took all of his power from the roots of the trees in the Fourest, but now that he is super stressed and scared even, the roots have worn down and if he tries then they come out tangled up. The only thing holding them up in the first place is his existence. If he doesn't exist, then all that remain are rotten, four-shaped groves.'
'Oh.'
Marshmallow's P.O.V.
We had to flee to the basement, and Bow barricaded the door with a chair, as if that would help. We used them all blocking the main entrance. Apple was clutching the book he was writing in his hands, and I sat by her trying to comfort her. I read it out to her, and she said it with me the second time. It was about our season 2 friendship, how we had a truce then Bow broke it, and found out the truth. It was quite painful and nostalgic to read, but it made Apple feel better, so I was happy too.
Then we heard thudding. It was like a dramatic sound in a movie almost, and was getting louder and faster at a constant rate. Apple buried her face in my soft surface, and I bundled up with her. I think she was crying, in fact. Bow didn't seem scared at all. I just didn't get it! This whole time she had been determined and looked as if she was prepared for it to come. Then we heard creaking from the ceiling. Then a click. Apple started screaming as the trapdoor slowly opened revealing more red every time from the top. Halfway through, as Apple had her breakdown and the leaf seemed to basically be fully visible, Bow carried us and kicked Evil Leafy, then yeeted us all out the window.
'WHY DIDN'T YOU DO THAT SOONER!?' I yelled after getting up from the mud.
She chuckled and said, 'Why, I didn't have enough room!'
Apple asked, 'Do what?'
'Do THIS!'
