Diamond's P.O.V

Me and Mic started singing silly songs and skipped all the way to EXIT. I guess the fact that she wasn't useless was comforting to her, and the fact that she was happy made me smile. We finally made it to the door and waved to Paintbrush and Lightbulb. I guess Knife and Trophy got burned out.

'Hey Gemstone, how did it go?' Lightbulb said happily.

'Well, we got something.' I replied.

'We got tea to spill!' Beamed Microphone.

'Well, good luck you guys!' said Paintbrush.

We waved goodbye to them and kicked the door open, still singing. Everyone turned around and welcomed us 'home'. Knife and Trophy were in a corner looking really tired. After waving to everyone else, I walked to the end of the room and looked at them. There were dents in their metal and Trophy had a swollen eye.

'What the hell happened to you guys..?' I asked them.

'Well, TROPHY here thought I was weak for a Dora doll incident that happened YEARS AGO!' Yelled Knife.

'Well, it's true.' snickered Trophy.

'Umm, EXCUSE ME!? You're the one who needed a slave to do everything you fat slob!'

'Guys, PLEASE don't argue again.' I begged.

'Fiiine...' They both groaned. They shot the other a nasty look and then went back to lying on the floor. I ran to the front and Microphone carried me onto the desk. I stomped my foot onto the desk to grab everyone's attention. It worked, and even Lightbulb and Paintbrush peeked their heads from outside.

'Alright, listen everyone! We have news about the missing contestants!'

Everyone started chattering.

'The place looked like it had a lava shower.. however there is a forest and Four says it's where Pin is. Paper, Loser, your turn!'

I heard quiet cheering from inside the jawbreaker.

'Yay!' Cheered Paper.

I went over to Loser and picked up the jawbreaker. It was surprisingly heavy. Microphone was getting Paper and explaining the whole thing to him once more.

'Hey, Loser, you know what to do, don't you?' I asked him.

'Yeah, save a fellow Loser!' He croaked as he jawbreaker shook in my hands.

Everyone crowded around us once again and wished us all luck, and we said our goodbyes back. We walked out after what seemed like hours and met with Paintbrush and Lightbulb once again.

'Hey, so where ya going now?' Asked Lightbulb.

'To go save a life!' us four told them.

'Well we hope they come back in one piece!' joked Paintbrush.

We all laughed and then we ran off, singing once again. When Paper saw the Fourest all he could do was let out the longest gasp as he slowly raised his head to see how tall the trees could grow. Loser could only see through the little crack through the jawbreaker, so we raised the jawbreaker's head to face the trees. He let out a quiet gasp too, and we all laughed.

I let Paper play around a little and Mic took Loser for a stroll through the Fourest. I focused on climbing to the top tree again, sat and looked down. Everyone looked happy to be playing together, even Loser was, though he was sealed inside a jawbreaker. It was ironic how a crisis could bring people together.

'Hey, we should get going!' I called out.

Everyone nodded and the jawbreaker shook, so I jumped down and carried the jawbreaker on my head. I jumped from branch to branch, making sure that I didn't fall or drop him. The other two followed. When we got to the tallest branch I explained how Microphone's scream could carry us up to the white hole above us.

Paper held onto Mic's arm and I held onto the other, and we both gripped onto the jawbreaker. Loser pointed the jawbreaker head to press the dial button. She breathed in and jumped, letting out a scream. The wind seemed to be pushing Paper down but he managed to stay close.

Then it went white again.

We all woke up on dead grass and it felt surprisingly warm. I got to my feet and soon everyone else had aswell.

'Hey, where are we..' muttered Paper.

'Uhh.. I think we're in the forest.' Mic replied.

'Well, we might as well get to walking, people!' I said as I skipped along. Everyone gave in and followed after me.

We continued singing the whole way. The forest seemed to be filled with pine trees and ravens on the branches. There was fog everywhere we looked. It gave off the vibe of evil, like we weren't supposed to be here. I guess we all just shrugged it off.

After hours of strolling through the same old scene, we saw and hears something different. It was like faint sobbing and we saw some red through the fog. We all assumed it was Evil Leafy at first glance so we had to tip-toe towards it. It wasn't Evil Leafy, though. It was Pin.

Leafy's P.O.V

It took a while for my leg to get used to being let go from the grip of a rope. It was like trying to walk again. My legs were stiff. After countless tries and falling over, I managed to take my first step. I took another. Then another. At least I could walk again. But something was certain, Evil Leafy was not going to leave. I had two options, either try and take control temporarily and kill myself or give in. But I couldn't do that.

I noticed something pulling my hand and turned around in a panic. It was the abyss. I looked downwards and heard echoing voices, laughing, arguing, insulting, everything. It reminded me a bit of BFDI again. When times were simple, when we were all friends, when even being insulted was funny. When we were all stupid little kids with hopes and dreams.

Isn't this what you want?

It was the same voice from before. The one that trapped me here.

Isn't this what you want? everyone happy, smiling, wanting you to win Dream Island. Jump in and you could re-live the glory days of BFDI!

No.. In fact, that isn't what I want. I want to go back. I hoped I could go back and apologise to Firey, because if I went back then I would never get to meet those amazing new contestants again. I wanted to go, but then again I'd miss everything if I did.

But then I heard voices from the pit.

'Oh, come on, why not join us?' The alliance creepily said at the same time.

'There's a 99.9% chance you'll be happy here!' Golf ball.

'Alliance, remember?' Pin.

'I'm you're best friend, don't you want to be friends again? That Firey didn't care, but I do!'

Firey.

I almost cried from the pressure. But I knew what I had to do. If I didn't do it, then it would keep on taunting me. The thought of being trapped here with nothing but voices taunting me, reminding me of the simpler times. I sat and stared at the pit. I kept on seeing visions of me and Firey playing around, throwing blades of grass at each other and supporting the other in challenges. It made me shed a few tears.

So I fell in.
