I woke up to the smell of food, some food i hadn't smelt in a long time.

I slipped outta bed and did my hygiene

Getting downstairs I see my children playing with my other little cousins.

My nana and Kylie were in the kitchen cooking.

I didnt know Nana was in the country

"NANA!!!"

I ran to hug her

"Chile you still a luh kid."
"When did you get back?"
"dis murni and I came to see meh grandbabies and great grandbabies."
"Awww how long are you here?"
"A week den bek tew deh land. You shou cum visit home, deh buf uh  you."
"Nana you know I cant do that," Kylie cut in
"Me either, I got soo much going on"

When Nana wanted to "talk" it either meant she about to kill you or she about to grill you. Basically you dont want nana telling you yall need to talk.

We walked outside and sat on Kylie's porch.

"Here she is mama," I heard Haylie say as I walked in.

"Who is det?" Nana nosey self said.

"Mama," Haylie said handing the phone before running off.

I stepped into the hallway for an attempt at privacy

"Heyyy Jass."
"Hi baby. What you got going on?"
"Im currently at a shoot for Fenty. You know im an ambassador for the lingerie line."
"Oh really? Which means you are gonna be .. i dont know... NAKED."
"Not necessarily Jasmyn.....wait ..Are you jealous?"

"Who was that?"
"My grand-mother."
"The one who lives in bermuda?"

"You can in Atlanta."
"She coming? Noooo! I dont want her at my concert."

"First impressions are everything. I dont need her seeing me shaking my ass on stage the first day i meet her."
"Yeahhhhh You right. She probably wasnt gonna come to the show itself anyway babe."
"Good. Where is Bubba?"
"He is currently causing terror with his other baby cousins."

I heard the directors talking in her background.

"I gotta go baby. Kiss my babies for me. I love you. Muah."

I hung up the phone and walked back into Kylie's room. She was laying on her bed typing away on her laptop.

"Whatchu doin sis?"
"Stupid ass homework."
"What its about?"
"The nerve functions of the brain."
"You lost me at functions. Go ask Nana for help."
"I dont know how you graduated college."
"and I dont know how you graduated high school bitch."
"Touché."
"Yeah i bet. Im finna run home to get some clothes and shit for tomorrow. We going out."
"We? Bitch you know you gotta reserve time with me a week prior."
"Girl shut the fuck up. Ill be back," I said throwing a pillow at her before walking out.

Kylie's house was about 30 minutes from mine...45 with traffic.

And it jus so happens to be a friday in Houston

When I reached my house,  I got out to unlock the door, Kylie called me but as I went to answer , the call ended

I decided to take a relaxing bath before ai head back with my kids.

Little did lil jasmyn know, she shoulda called her sister back or answered the phone

I put my phone on dnd nd sat in the tub with candles around me.

I had some erykah badu playing in the background.

Some me time.

Finally.

And I drifted off into a sleep.

I woke up not in the tub no more.

My body ached and I was cold.

I wasn't home anymore.

"You cant hide from me forever," was all i heard before I drifted back into sleep.

This was idk.
I might delete this and start over but this should hold yall for now😭
