Dear Kim Seokjin,
Yesterday, a couple of days after our splendid date, I got some news from my cardiologist, Dr. Jeon, Jungkook's father.
He told me that my health was recovering from its rough patch very quickly, and that I could survive another ten years if I wanted to. But without a heart donor, I probably can't live longer than that.
Anyways, after I received that phone call, I told my family, who were absolutely ecstatic about this news, and then I told my members, who were so happy.
"Unnie, that's great! That means we might get to debut as BLACKPINK!" Chaeyoung had shouted.
But I'm scared. What if I don't survive that long?
Well, today, I was near my locker, talking with my girls, when I felt a tap on my shoulder.
At that moment, I saw Lisa's shocked yet paled face, Chaeyoung's excited grin, and Jennie's cute gummy smile flash on.
Confused, I turned around, only to see Jungkook. A couple of feet behind him was you and the rest of Bangtan. And you did not look happy. At all.
Jungkook was holding a bouquet of flowers, his signature bunny smile gracing his handsome face. I can't believe that he's my little brother, my dongsaeng.
I could tell that Jungkook was looking at me genuinely, but I could see him try and avoid Lisa's gaze.
"Jisoo-noona! I heard that your health was recovering from my appa, and I thought I would get you a gift. I chose the flowers with a lot of thought process into this. My eomma paid for it and approved of my choice. I hope you like it! Bye Noona!"
Those were Jungkook's exact words before handing the flowers off to me. The sunflowers radiated against my hold. Then, Jungkook mischievously leaned in to whisper something.
"Jin-hyung is very jealous, Noona. It's funny."
Jungkook then skipped off, happiness and energy coming from within him.
I glanced over at you. It was true.
You looked mad, and when Jungkook arrived, you yelled at him.
When I turned back to my girls, Lisa seemed a bit disturbed, but I knew what her issue was.
Then, after I came out from my last class, you reached me. You pulled me to a small, hidden place of the school.
You look outraged.
"Jisoo! Why did you accept those flowers from Jungkook? Did that date mean nothing to you? He even leaned in to whisper something! What sort of idiotic bunny —"
"What's wrong?"
You were jealous, when an idiot could see it.
"Jisoo . . . Do you like Jungkook?"
I was outraged.
"How could you think of me like that? I think of him as my little brother! Oh my gosh, Seokjin, I like you! —"
I was interrupted when you slammed your lips onto mine. It was such a euphoric feeling.
After you let go, you asked, "Jisoo?"
"Yes?"
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Oh — um, yes!"
You chuckled.
"Okay. You look hot when you're mad by the way."
I was really red.
Love,
