"If I had a flower for every time I thought of you . . . I could walk through my garden forever."

Jisoo stirred the pot of kimchi fried rice, humming to herself.
"And I~, I don't want to anything but cry," her melodious voice rang through the empty kitchen, where the smell of food consisted. The beautiful song was even prettier on her lips. "Cry" by Alexx Calise was one of her favorite songs. Her husband had introduced it to her.
A shriek was heard in the living room of the large house, and Jisoo immediately turned off her stove and ran to the designated area.
"Kim Jaewon and Jinae!" Jisoo shouted in despair, hoping her four-year-old son and three-year-old daughter respectively were not hurt or injured in any sort of form.
When she reached the room, the two playful children, having taken it from their father, seemed in perfect condition. They were watching the TV in interest, and it seemed like a moment on the television had just caught their attention.
Jisoo sighed in relief and picked up her handsome son and beautiful daughter, who were very excited.
"Eomma, Eomma! Did you see the people?" Jaewon's voice, still not mature, was in a happy tone.
"Eomma! The people!" Jinae shouted, her tiny fists shaking in excitement.
As Jisoo walked back to the kitchen, with Jaewon on her right hip and Jinae on her left hip, she smiled. She couldn't have asked for more perfect children.
Setting them on their chairs, Jaewon and Jinae watched in curiosity and exhilaration as their mother started to cook again.
"Eomma, when is Appa going to come home?"
Jisoo glanced at the clock on the wall. "You're right, Jaewon. Where is your appa? He should be home by now."
As she spoke those words, a pair of arms wrapped around her waist, his head placed on her shoulder as he watched what she was making for them.
"Chu-yah," Seokjin spoke, a smile playing on his lips, "dinner smells heavenly."
"It better," Jisoo retorted back. "I'm cooking for our family."
"Anything you make is heavenly, Chu-yah."
Jisoo's smile widened. She placed her utensil on the counter, protected by a napkin laid there before, and turned around to meet the handsome face of her husband. Her arms wrapped around his neck, and they stared into each other's eyes.
Seokjin placed a small kiss on Jisoo's lips, but Jaewon, being the kid he was, covered his eyes in disgust.
"Eomma, Appa, stop, that's gross!" complained the young boy.
He then proceeded to cover his sister's eyes, in hopes of saving her.
Seokjin removed himself from Jisoo's grasp and told his son, "You'll understand when you're in love, Jaewon."
"You better wash up, Seokjin," Jisoo said, rubbing her hands on her apron before reaching to remove it, "dinner's ready."
So in thirty minutes, the family was finished with their meals, and the couple had just returned from putting Jaewon and Jinae in bed.
"I hung out with the girls today. No practice today," Jisoo said, situating the popcorn bowl on her lap before eating one.
Seokjin's eyes, trained on the movie, moved to Jisoo's beautiful face.
"We had extra practice, because the maknae line wouldn't stop messing around. If you ask me, they were missing their wives."
Jisoo smiled and replied, "Seokjin, under the bed are my slippers. I accidentally kicked them under, and you know how short I am. Could you please get them for me? Jebal?"
Seokjin smiled, getting up. "Of course, jagiya."
So when he reached the bedroom and got on his knees, he saw a box. It was the box Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa had given to her during the celebration of her heart transplant.
Speaking of which, it was successful. After they graduated, they stayed together and got married immediately, not wanting to waste a minute of their time together.
Seokjin, along with the rest of BTS, debuted under Big Hit Entertainment, and after a couple of years, gained a lot of fame. The hate was hard, but he had Jisoo. They had Jaewon after he debuted.
Jisoo, however, just debuted under YG Entertainment as monster rookie group BLACKPINK, and moments like these were hard to find, because of her rapid succession and busy schedule.
But the couple loved each other, and their love made it easy for them to get through the day. That was all that mattered to them. Love and family.
After her surgery, Jisoo had stopped writing the letters, just because she had so much to conquer and way too much to write.
Plus, what was the point if Seokjin was already hers?
Seokjin grabbed both the slippers and box, setting the slippers on the floor. He sat on the bed with the box, opening the latch to find a bunch of letters numbered by Roman numerals.
It's a good thing Jin had to memorize Roman numerals for a project in high school and never forgot.
Opening the first letter, Jin didn't know what he had coming.

Seokjin went downstairs with the slippers and box full of read letters.
"Chu," he said cautiously, placing the slippers in front of her feet.
"What is this?" He held out the box for her to see.
Jisoo's eyes popped out of her eye sockets.
"Y-you didn't r-read those, d-did you n-now?"
Seokjin sighed, sitting down besides Jisoo.
"You never told me about these. I'm sorry for being such a jerk, Chu."
Jisoo smiled, taking the box from him. "These are just memories anyway, Seokjin. I'll keep these for memories. Maybe I'll give them to Jaewon and Jinae when they're old enough to understand them."
Her soft smile remained. "But what I wouldn't know is that these letters would change my life, give me hope to continue to love you."
She turned her head to him. "Seokjin-ah, thank you for everything you have done for me. I love you. Saranghaeseyo, Kim Seokjin."
Seokjin smiled at her, placing a gentle kiss on her lips. "I love you, too. Saranghaeseyo, Kim Jisoo."
