To Love Again

Chapter Ten: Happy Ending

He said I love you but she didn't say it back. She said was, "Goodbye, Sam"

That's what we all saw and heard on National TV.

But now, Toni is at the outside world and Sam is also outside of the PBB house. All he needed to do was confront Toni. Face her parents the second time around and fully ask them their permission to be Toni's boyfriend.

Sam didn't realize it would take him this long to finally own up his feelings to Toni. He's happy he did because now he has the courage to say to her parents that he loves their daughter.

And what they saw on TV wasn't an act. It was all real.

"Tito Bonoy, Tita Pinty mahal ko po ang anak ninyo. Gagawin ko po ang lahat para masaya siya. Hinding hindi ko po siya sasaktan. Sana po payagan niyo po ako na mahalin ang anak ninyo" Sam said and meant every word he said to her parents.

"Sam" Bonoy said.

"Po?"

"Alam mo na hindi kami ang mag desisyon kung mahal ka anak namin. Kailangan mong tanungin si Tin"

"Pinapayagan niyo po ba ako?" Sam asked.

Bonoy and Pinty nodded and what he felt was joy and happiness. He immediately went to where Toni was, he knew she had taping for a guesting.

Sam knew what he was going to do to make Toni say yes into making him her boyfriend.

Toni's POV

Nasaan na kaya yung si Sam? Sabi niya di daw siya male-late. Tingnan mo ang oras oh, mag alas onse na!

"Sorry for making you wait" I turned around and see him.

"Saan ka ba nanggaling? Sabi mo ten o'clock!" I berated him with a question.

"I'm sorry" he apologized again.

"Bakit ganyan ang suot mo?" I asked seeing him wearing a suit. He looked very dashing.

"Come with me" He said.

"Saan mo na naman ako dadalhin Samuel?"

"Basta, sumama ka na lang" He said. I was convinced, I went with him.

Then I saw a black limousine pull up, "Ay nasaan ang presidente?" I joked.

"The limo is for us" He opened the door for me and assisted me.

I just smiled and went along with the ride.

Finally after about 30 minutes. We arrived at the PBB house, "Sam, sarado na bahay ni Kuya"

"Alam ko.." He smiled to me as he exited the limo. He opened the door for me again.

"Bakit tayo nandito?" I asked feeling a little nervous and clueless to where everything is going.

"A little reminiscing" He said to my ear, so close na pwede na niyang halikan ang pisngi ko.

I smiled and he offered his hand for me to hold and I did.

We stood up on the stage, where I introduce the housemates, where we host, "This is the first time you kissed me on the cheek, remember?" he said as I remembered the crowd asking for it.

"The night you got evicted"

"Then, after that, I came back to do a telephone patch with some fans and I was with you.."

"Yes.."

Then he led me to the limo again, "Saan tayo pupunta?"

"Our next stop" He said.

After about 20 minutes we stopped at ABS.

"ASAP Studio" I read the sign.

"This is where we saw the most of each other. Where we did prod numbers, where we talked backstage, in your dressing room"

Then we leave again. It was a bar or a club.

"This is where we danced for our movie You Are the One.."

He slowly danced with me, then he twirled me around, catching me in his arms with a tight grip-- making sure I wasn't going to fall, "Sam why are we here?" I asked.

"This is where I began to develop my feelings for you, for the first time around" He explained.

"Sam, why are you telling me this?"

"I promise to tell you when everything is done" He smiled to me as we danced and finished the song.

So far we went to three places, he said this would be the last stop. We didn't have to drive this time. It was the coffee shop by ABS.

This time the place looked different. It was dark, but luminated with twinkly lights, red rose petals on the ground leading to the spot where I love to sit every time I'm here.

I looked behind me, Sam wasn't there anymore.

I felt a hand grab onto me gently, "Don't worry, I'll never your side. I promised, remember?" He turned me to him.

"I love you, Tin. I made a mistake once by not letting myself have the courage to court you. I was a coward and you didn't deserve that"

"Sam.."

"Please let me finish--" he knelt down in front of me, "Celestine Cruz Gonzaga, will you give me the honor of being my girlfriend?" He looked at me with pleading eyes.

"Yes" I said, and by the look on his face,  he was shocked. I'm guessing he didn't expect that to be my answer.

He finally stood up, "Yes?"

"I'm saying Yes to you Samuel" I smiled.

"I feel so happy right now, you don't understand how happy I am" Sam smiled almost in tears.

I hugged him tight, "I love you too, Samuel"

He gently touched my face, cupped my chin, he leaned in and kissed me, soft and passionate, "I love you" he said again with a growing smile from ear to ear.

"And I love you"
