Chapter Four: Friday

Tonight is the night Toni will get some answers from Paul.

Paul had arrived at the restaurant before Toni did, where moments later she arrived and found him sitting at the exact table where she said yes to being his girlfriend.

Paul immediately stood up and helped her get seated, "Hi Tin, how are you?" he asked.

"I'm okay, ikaw?" She asked.

"I'm okay, what did you need to talk about?" Paul asked with hope in his eyes.

"Why did you leave without telling me?" Toni asked.

"I knew it was too long for you to wait for me" Paul explained.

"Too long? I was in this relationship for the good and the bad and you doubted that I wouldn't wait for you?"

"Tin, I met someone when I was in New York" he confessed.

This shocked Toni, her jaw dropped, a tear shed from her eye, "Why?"

"Toni, I cheated on you with another woman in New York, and I met her the first time I went to New York for my movie"

"Why did you tell me this now? Why didn't you tell the first time you fell in love with that woman?" Toni asked, having the urge to slap him.

"I didn't want to hurt you or your family"

"What do you think you're doing now?"

"I'm sorry, Toni. Sincerely, and truthfully sorry" Paul apologized.

"Goodbye, Paul. Have a nice life." Toni said, she grabbed her purse and left the restaurant.

"Aaaaaargghhh!" Toni yelled out her frustration, anger, sadness, everything, "Bakit ganito? Anong ginawa kong mali?"

She was under her covers and crying herself to sleep, at least she tried to sleep. She thought of many things she has done wrong to why Paul would cheat on her, "He was my answered prayer, bakit ganun? Di ko maintindihan" she whined.

Her sister, Catherine came in the bedroom and sat at the end of her bed, "Ate.." she said quietly, knowing her sister is currently overwhelmed with what happened to her and Paul.

Toni wiped her tears to begin talking to Catherine, she put on a brave face and a smile with her red eyes, "Ano yun?"

Catherine came closer to Toni to hug her, "Magiging okay ka rin, Ate. There will be a man out there for you na hindi ka lolokohin at lagi kang pasasayahin" Catherine assured as her Ate hugged her tighter, "Salamat, Catherine" she smiled through her heartache.

"Tumayo ka. We're going to burn everything na binigay sayo ni Paul" Catherine suggested, the idea made Toni feel a little bitter. Catherine and Toni gathered items in Toni's room that was from Paul and out it a cardboard box.

Then they headed to the backyard and dumped everything in the garbage. Toni lit up a match over the memories and gifts from Paul, "Goodbye, Paul" she shed a tear as Catherine hugged her by her side.

Sunday

Toni woke up early for ASAP Rehearsals and Taping. Her eyes were baggy and swollen from all the crying from the night before. She showered, and put on comfortable clothing for the rehearsals, she put on shades to block the blinding sun.

"TIN!" a producer yelled to catch her attention, Toni stopped herself from entering her dressing room, "Good Morning" she smiled sheepishly.

"Eto yung script natin for today's taping at you will be part of the opening prod, TZone mo, at another dance prod kasama si Sam, kailangan niyo mag rehearse kasi may stunts yata kayo gagawin" the producer informed, instead of heading to the dressing room, she went to the dance studio to meet with Teacher Georcelle.

Toni knocked on the door before she entered and music was already blasting through the speakers and she hears Teach Georcelle counting out loud for her choreography, "Hi Toni! Good morning, sorry ha. I didn't prepare you enough para sa dance prod niyo ni Sam" Georcelle said as she hugged the singer as hello.

Toni smiled, "Okay lang, what song are we dancing to?" She asked.

"If I were a boy by Beyonce. It's lyrical hiphop, walang stunts, kasi with little time na meron tayo. Sherwin and I took it out" She told as Sam finally joined them.

He greeted Georcelle and gave Toni a kiss on the cheek, "Kumusta?" He asked Toni.

"Okay lang" She answered shortly and went back to listening to Teacher Georcelle for instructions.

"Alright.. Sasayawin muna namin ni Sherwin ang whole choreo, kasi its about 2minutes.. tapos we'll teach you.." She told as Sam and Toni sat down, and watched.

"And everything you got, got destroyed..."

The song finished, "Let's do this!" Georcelle said as she turned around and waited for Sam and Toni to get up on their feet.

They rehearsed the dance over and over again until they mastered every step, "Great job!"

As soon as they finished, Toni said goodbye and left. Sam gathered his things and quickly caught up to Toni, "Hey..."

Sam took off her sunglasses as Toni bowed her head down, "Come here, you'll be okay" he hugged her as Toni started crying again, let her body drop on Sam's chest, "Ang sakit.. sobrang sakit.." she sobbed.

Sam hugged her tighter and kissed her head, he wiped her tears and looked at her eyes filled with sadness and anger, he didn't know what to say and all he did was kiss her forehead for a long time and hugged her again.

Sam walked Toni to her dressing room, "I'll be with you the whole day today, okay? From ASAP to The Buzz to PBB. I'll be by your side, okay?" He promised as he settled his things. Toni is always alone in her dressing room with the people who work for her.

Sam let Toni get ready, he called his team to go to Toni's dressing room, "We'll be here the whole time guys" he said as he looked over Toni, still trying to get herself together.

He walked to Toni, "Gutom ka ba? Order ako ng pagakain? Gusto mo ng tiramisu or chocolate cake?"

Toni shook her head, "Okay lang ako Sam, salamat" she smiled at him then began to frown again.

Sam didn't listen, he still ordered food for Toni, himself and their team without her knowing.
