This is my second entry today. My ball is over. The strangest thing happened. Before I get into that, I should go into what happened during the entire evening.

First I was forced to wear a long, flowy dress that looked like it belonged to a princess. It's gold shimmering fabric mimicked my eyes. It stood out against my dull brown hair. It had the off-shoulder delicate sleeves, and it was paired with heels. It's not that I thought the dress was ugly, it was beautiful with all its detail. I just dislike wearing them in general. My hair was curled, and a white ribbon was added. Makeup stained my face, turning it into a mask that shielded my true self from the public eye. They saw The Writer; I was Savannah. I looked perfect. Too perfect. I hated it. I didn't want to look like that. It was as if any slight blemish, as small as it may be, was taken away from me. I felt like someone else; I felt to alien; I felt to flawless. And even though I just said I looked flawless, I certainly didn't feel it. I was being forced into a mold in which I did not fit. Why must I act like someone who I am not?

Anyways, at the ball literally everyone fromthe Academy was there. My friends were there. It was kind of awkward seeing them all dressed up. In my last entry I wrote their real names, which they have told me. The names they go by are different.

Kameryn= the Optomist
Sean= the Collector
Polo= the Seeker
Rachel= the Simplest

They all fit their personality somehow in a strange way. Anyways, the Seeker and the Simplest are a couple, and they are so cute together! Anyways, the ball was all merry and grand. It was filled with happiness and laughter. I must admit, I did enjoy it.

Although, at some point I just needed to leave. I don't remember why. A sudden impulse had washed over me.
When I left the main room to take a stroll through the endless corridors, I overheard voices. And a specific, powerful, important confident voice in particular. The President. He supervises everything in the TLI. He is the most powerful person on Gallifrey. I quickly slip a ribbon out of my hair and set it on the ground. If someone were to find me, I could say that it dropped, and I was picking it up.

"We must defend ourselves. They must perish!" Says the President. The TLI plans on murdering someone. I do not wish to take part in this. That's all I needed to hear, I sprinted as fast as my shoes would allow back to the ballroom before anyone realizes I had disappeared.
