His Mistake

Chapter 13

Alma's POV

Jungkook and his members had a week off so he decided to spend the first day at home with Alma.

He quickly went to the toilet in the middle of a movie they were watching, fiddling, Alma picked up his wallet and opened it. She noticed one of his credit cards was missing.

"Jungkook-ah." She said as he returned, "One card is missing."

"Oh that. I closed it. I have to many cards to handle." His lying was becoming natural, after all its been two months he's been lying to her.
Without suspecting a thing, Alma cuddled up to him as he sat beside her.

After he dropped her off the next day, he drove to Bo Kyung's house. She hadn't been answering his calls and it worried him.

"She hasn't changed the passcode." He murmured to himself before stepping into the apartment.

"Bo Kyung!" He called, "Are you home?"
When there was no response. He went upstairs and found her on the ground unconscious.
"Oh no,Bo Kyung wake up. What the hell happened to you?"

Thinking of what to do, he called a friend of his that was a doctor. He couldn't take her to the hospital so he had no other choice.

After a few hours, his friend Nam Seon Ho arrived. Jungkook took him to the room and excused him and the nurse that came with him.
His phone rang. It was Alma.

"Babe?" She said sounding weak. "Where are you?"
The only thing in his head at that moment was Bo Kyung and his child, he was too distracted to notice the way she sounded.

"Umm.. I'm sorry Alma, I'm a bit busy, I'll call you later." He hung up.

Seon Ho came out with the nurse.
"What happened to her?"
"It's nothing serious, she was just stressed. She's sleeping now but I advice she be more careful to avoid any serious problems."

He took note of everything he was told and thanked his friend. Seon Ho told the nurse to wait for him in the car.

"Don't worry about her. I picked her knowing she'd say nothing about this."
"Yes. Thank you for that."
It's not my business but does your girlfriend know of this? I mean you and Bo Kyung nearly ruined what you had with Alma...."

Jungkook cut him short "Your right about it not being your business. Thank you Seon Ho but you should leave now. I'll send you your money."

"No need. I'm doing this for the child and not for the both of you." With that Seon Ho left. Jungkook went up to see Bo Kyung and found her awake. They were talking when he received a text. Immediately, he jumped to his feet and said
"I'm sorry I have to go."

Jungkook, where the hell have you been? Alma is in the hospital. She collapsed after complaining about her stomach. Ae Ra took her to our clinic. We're all there and waiting for you. -Nam Joon hyung.

~At The hospital~

Ae Ra's POV

He found Ae Ra, and his members in the waiting room. Ae Ra had been crying, Nam Joon was with her. She lifted her head and saw him by the door.

"Where have you been? She's been calling you." She was shouting and crying. "If anything happens to her, I'll make you pay."
Nam Joon quickly pulled her away and took her outside. Only the members knew they were dating. They did a good job hiding it.

Jungkook's POV

"Hyung what happened?"
"Her appendix burst, she's in surgery right now. I heard she called you but you said you were busy. She kept calling but you didn't pick up, then she called Ae Ra." Ho Seok told him.

"Where were you?" Tae Hyung asked. "Jimin and I stopped by your house but you weren't even there."

He couldn't think of any lie at the moment luckily for him the doctor came out so he changed the subject.

"Oh how is she?"
"Good. The surgery went well."
At that moment Ae Ra and Nam Joon entered.

"Can we see her?" Jungkook asked
"Yes but not all of you."
"I'll go." Ae Ra broke away from Nam Joon. "I'll see her."

Jungkook didn't dare to argue with her. He let her go.

Ae Ra's POV

"My poor baby, how are you feeling?"
"Apart from the pain, I feel good."
She looked around for her fiancé.

"Where's Jungkook?"
Ae Ra sighed. "I can't believe you want to see him. I'll get him."

She came out. "She wants to see you."
As he walked by her, she held his arm and said. "You'll answer to me after all this." And let go of his hand. She was ready to lose her job.

Alma's POV

"Where were you?" She pushed him away when he tried to kiss her.

He didn't know what to say to her.
"I.. uh.. I was.." he stuttered

"What's going on with you? You've been distant lately. Anytime we are  together your mind is somewhere else, you don't look me in the eye when we talk. Just like now."

He still couldn't say anything.
"When you want to talk you know where to find me. Please leave, I want Ae Ra unni."

He kissed her forehead and obeyed her.

"Unni. Something is wrong, and I have to find out."
"No problem. I'll help."
