His Mistake

Chapter 5

Jungkook's POV

"So, how was it?" Jimin asked
Jungkook smiled. He was about to open his mouth when the others rushed in.

"Jungkook-ah, how's she like?"
"Did you enjoy her company?
"Do you like her?"

He rose his hand to silence them.
"To Jimin hyung, it was amazing."
"Ho Seok-ie hyung, she's funny and smart and real."
"Nam Jun hyung, I loved her company."
"And Jin hyung I think I do."
They wanted to ask more questions but Jungkook told them he wanted to eat and then sleep so they left him.

The members' POV

"So what do you think of our maknae's love interest?"
"I think we should still observe. He rarely associates with girls but when he does, he associates with them deeply. Remember Bo Kyung?" Yoon Gi said.

Their expressions changed when the name Bo Kyung came up. She was Jungkook's ex. Well not a real ex since they never really dated but Jungkook had big plans concerning them but she messed them up and ran to London with some of his money and another guy.
They were worried about him for a long time because he really liked her. It wasn't the money that hurt him, it was the fact that her feelings weren't genuine."

Nam Jun stood up and said. "Well I guess we have to meet this Alma Morgan girl. Without him knowing."

~The Same Day~

Alma's POV

"Unni I know it's only a day but I think I like him." She said as she repositioned the phone on her ear. "No not love c'mon, but he's really cool like cooler than I imagined."

"Do you think you'll see him again?" Ae Ra asked.

"I definitely want to see him again but that's up to him."

"Hmm.. You sound really pumped for someone who fell flat on her face in front of her date." Ae Ra managed to hold in her laughter.

"Unni. Don't remind me of that." She whined. "He was such a gentleman. I knew he wanted to laugh but he held it in and helped me."

"I thought Ho Seok oppa was your bias?"

"He will always have a place in my heart but Jungkook...he's just so sweet and real and nothing like Daniel. You know he called me yesterday."

"Daniel Choi?" Ae Ra cursed under her breath. "That low life still contacts you?"

"Breathe unni, calm down." Alma said. "I pretty sure I shut him down this time. I gotta go. Love you."

"Good. I love you too."

~Three Days Later~

Alma's POV

Why hasn't he contacted me?
Should I call him?
But what if he's busy?
Let me just wait.
But it's been three whole days.
Have patience Alma.

She was losing her mind, she and Jungkook hadn't spoken since after the date and she was worried. Thinking of what might be wrong her phone rang. She grabbed it only to see it was her mother. Disappointment slapped her hard.

"Hi mom."
"What's wrong? Why do you sound this way?
"Nothing just tired."
"Anyway I've booked your flight back home so I'll be expecting you..."
Alma cut her off. "No mom. You won't be expecting me. You'd better ask for a refund 'cause I'm not coming home. Good bye."
She slammed the phone on the kitchen counter.

Raking her hands through her silky smooth blond hair, she tried hard not to swear but when her phone rang again she let it go.

"I said I'm not coming home!"
"It's Jungkook."

Shit Alma.

"Hi. I'm sorry. I thought you were my mom."
"It's okay. So how are you?"
She blushed deeply.
"Good and you?"
"Great. Sorry I haven't called."
She smiled and sat on the bar stool listening to his honey voice.
