Scene:
The Crew is back on board the HSC and getting settled in after there mission on Planet 2110. The Doc is processing the KIA cadets. He put them in these caskets, the moment they would return to Nirvana they'll give them a proper USFD burial. The Doc took the report to the Captain. He looked down at the names on the tablet. He saw the Cadet name who saved them in the Temple. He reflected on that moment and knows that he and the remainder of the crew wouldn't be here if not for him. The Captain clicks the approve button and hands the tablet back to the Doc.Doc: You okay Captain?
Captain: Uh, yeah. I'm going to be in my quarters.
Doc: Okay, Captain. I'll be by soon to check on you.Scene:
The Captain walks away from Doc and heads out the shuttle bay door. The Doc looks back at his table and starts to enter the rest of the information. Sr. Officer Bird approaches the Doc.Sr. Officer Bird: You may want to take it easy with the Captain.
Doc: Did something happen down there?
Sr. Officer Bird: Well aside from the battle and the stress of the mission. One of the Cadets saved us and the Captain's life. If not for him, we would probably be dead.
Doc: Seriously? Well, I'll make sure he gets recognized for his action. Which one?
Sr. Officer Bird: That one right there.Scene:
The Doctor checked the name on the tablet.Sr. Officer Bird: Yeah. I have to admit it was even stressful for me. For it being our first mission there was a lot that went wrong, but a lot that went right too.
Doc: It seems you've changed a bit from this mission. Care to talk about it?
Sr. Officer Bird: Uh, not right now. However, if I feel the need later I'll take you up on that offer Doc.
Doc: My door is open anytime. Just stop on by.Scene:
Sr. Officer Bird heads for the shuttle bay door. As it opens Sr. Officer Winchester is walking through. They pass by each other and give a cordial wave. Sr. Officer Winchester heads towards Sr. Officer Baker. The two of them make eye contact, but try to not draw too much attention. Doc looks up and sees Sr. Officer Winchester approaching the shuttle.Doc: Winchester, what are you doing here?
Sr. Officer Winchester: Uh, I have to check in with Baker to make sure that everything is okay.
Doc: Oh, okay. I believe she is over there.
Sr. Officer Winchester: Thank you, Doc.Scene:
Sr. Officer Baker makes sure that nobody is in the shuttle. She didn't see anybody. She tucks around the corner and waits for Winchester to arrive. Winchester walks around the corner.Sr. Officer Baker: Hey stranger you new in town?
Sr. Officer Winchester: Baker! You're okay?!
Sr. Officer Baker: Yes, I'm good. I see you missed me.
Sr. Officer Winchester: I, uh...I did. I...dont' know what I would do if I lost you.
Sr. Officer Baker: Winchester? I had no idea you cared that much for me.
Sr. Officer Winchester: As long as we have served together I have always had feelings for you, but it felt different this time. Being so far away from home and not knowing what the outcome was going to be with you or the mission. Something about this mission felt different to me.
Sr. Officer Baker: Winchester, I am sorry that you had to go through that, but this is my job. You know it's going to put me in danger at any time.
Sr. Officer Winchester: I know that, but...Scene:
Winchester looks around the corner to make sure nobody was watching. He grabs Baker by the shoulders and leans in for a kiss. She exchanges the embrace back and for a few moments, two lovers exchanged their feelings towards each other despite the risk of being seen. Winchester pulls away from her and looks her in the eyes. The look he gives her warms Bakers' heart.Sr. Officer Baker: Winchester, that was amazing. I honestly didn't think you would ever kiss me.
Sr. Officer Winchester: Why not, you're beautiful. Besides before I was your superior and it wouldn't have been allowed. Now we're equal.
Sr. Officer Baker: Really?! You're saying that this whole time you didn't make a pass at me was because of my rank?
Sr. Officer Winchester: It wasn't the only thing...
Sr. Officer Baker: I need to file my report with the Captain. So I'll talk to you later.Scene:
Baker walks away from Winchester leaving him and Doc in there alone. Doc looks over at Winchester and he has this awkward look on his face.Doc: Everything okay Winchester?
Sr. Officer Winchester: Shut up!Scene:
Sr. Officer Winchester storms off and heads out the shuttle bay door.Doc: He's in a bad mood.
Scene:
Doc goes back to his work on the tablet to finish up. He closes the last casket up and then pushes the button to have them teleported into the morgue. The Doc heads out of the shuttle bay.Scene Ends
