That night Trozzer didn't show up for dinner. It was unusual, but not uncommon for him to skip meals. With all the brothers sitting down I decided to broach the subject of Trozzer.

"So... anyone talk to Trozzer since he's been here?" I questioned awkwardly, not really knowing where to begin.

Everyone gave me confused looks.

"Why would we?" Levi responded quickly.

I realized that they had stopped eating and were looking at me intently. Maybe I had made a mistake.

"He just doesn't seem like that bad of a guy," I replied quietly, pushing the remainder of my dinner around on my plate.

"What makes you think that?" Satan snapped, his notorious temper flaring.

"I talked to him. All he wants is there to be peace between everyone."

"Peace?" Satan slammed his hands on the table, standing.

Clearly I had greatly overstepped.

"If he wanted peace, human, he wouldn't have started a war in the first place."

I would have been afraid if only he hadn't called me human. Instead, my blood began to boil.

"There's more to the story than you know," I fired back, trying to control my own rage.

I was mad, but I wasn't fly off the handle mad like he so plainly was.

"You're just a human," Satan spat again, narrowing his eyes. "You know nothing."

Asmo placed a steady hand on his shoulder when he saw the hurt in my eyes. Now, I was pissed.

"I've been here long enough to know something about you demons," I snapped back, rising from my own seat and matching his posture and temperance exactly. "I've had my whole world flipped upside down, and I will no longer stand for you treating me like I am nothing, demon."

I wasn't so mad that he didn't believe me about Trozzer. I knew they all had their reasons, and maybe there was still more I didn't know. What I was made about was how condescending he was being.

Satan exploded, his power manifesting itself around him like with Lucifer. Only this time it wasn't nearly so contained.

Satan grew black horns that curled up and out on itself. He wore a black button up shirt that had even darker black ribbons that wrapped around his chest like ribs. The inside of the ribbon was a deep dark green. He wore black pants with white spots dotting them. A spiky black tail that wrapped around his leg, turning the same green at the tip.

From the eruption of his power the table flipped over. I was barely able to duck out of the way in time. Everyone was stunned from the sudden turmoil.

Everyone expect Satan.

He was over me in an instant, pulling me up by my shirt. I was dangling from his hands. Fear gripped me and I grabbed onto his arms, calling my power forth. Just like I had burned the door handle in the music room I burned his arms.

He dropped me, hissing from the pain. I could smell the faint sent of burned flesh in the room. I hit the ground hard, yelling from the sudden impact.

Beel and Mammon, who had been sitting next to me at the table, were struggling to remove the wrecked table and chairs off of them. Asmo, Lucifer, and Levi were trying-- and failing-- to calm down Satan without using force.

I felt utterly helpless, needing to be rescued again. If they were unable to quell Satan I got the sense this was going to turn into an all out fight. One the would likely end in my death, if not some of the others as well.

Satan took a step forward, shaking off his brother's easily while he was in his second form. This was what really lurked beneath them, the predator the voice in the back of my mind was always warning me about.

Something bucked in my veins as satan continued to ebb closer, murderous intent glinting in his eyes. He was the avatar of wraith, and his anger had gotten ahold of him.

The thrashing inside me rose to a teanor. I didn't know what it was, exactly, but I knew if it didn't get out it would destroy me. I let it take over, feeling awash in a burning energy.

The room filled with a blinding golden light. The pressure built up in my back in two different spots in between my shoulder blades. Pain errupted for a moment, before soothing energy took over.

By the time the light dissipated everyone was looking at me in shock, even satan. Another moment passed and Satan went back to his normal self.

The room was utter chaos, but no one seemed to care or notice.

"Isabel?" Lucifer hesitantly began, taking a tentative step forward.

"What?" I asked, looking around the room.

I didn't know why everyone was looking at me the way they were.

Lucifer held his hand out, an offered to help me up. When I took his hand I noticed the marks all over my skin, which were usually white and hardly noticeable, we're now going brightly with a golden light.

My clothing had also changed to into an etherial and flowing white and gold dress that hung loosely off of my shoulders. The whole back was exposed to make way for two very large white feathered angel wings.
