Suddenly.....
"cough, cough. Where am I?" Steve Rogers woke up in a secret sanctuary in a confidential location.
"Tony? Nat? Vision? *cough**cough*" As he spoke, he felt that his life drained away for the second time. But, he still looks strong and not old. Somehow, Tony, Natasha, and Vision are also in the sanctuary and they are hooked on a heartbeat machine. Magically they are all alive......LITERALLY.
Then, he heard footsteps coming closer and Steve play dead. There were two people. One was a male around his 30's and a female with lustrous black hair around her 30's too.
"Magenta, can you pass me their files? We need to study more of their origins. Then, we can fully resurrect them and gain their powers, intelligence, mind, strength, and swift" the man said.
"Right away Leo, coming right up!" the female answered.
After a while, they left with the files and back into the darkness of the sanctuary and Steve no longer need to play dead. Since he knew that everybody was alive, he tried to wake them up. The problem is, Magenta and Leo put them in deep sleep as the effect has run out on Steve. Soon, Steve found a reverse antidote for their deep sleep. He immediately used it on all three of them and they immediately woke up, except for Vision. His mind is still in a deep trans Stev must carry him out.
Natasha and Tony said "Where am I?"
Then, Steve continued on to tell them about the scientist and about the resurrection. They were literally bamboozled of that. But, as he get on to the part where WE MUST GET OUT OF HERE! They understood him and start to unwrap themselves from the machines keeping them together. Together, they snuck out of the sanctuary.
On the way, Steve saw the scientists in a room testing on different prisoners and captives on something. It seems that they are conducting experiments on something that makes the captives crazy. IT IS CRAZY!
"Snap out of it Steve" Natasha said furiously
After Steve's reality went back to reality, they quickly went out of the sanctuary and immediately noticed that they are in Sokovia, where they fought Ultron. So, when they think that they are clear from the hands of the scientist, Steve briefly told them what happened.
"It has been 1 year since the battle with Thanos. People think that we are dead because of the battle. So, we must pretend that we are non-existent. Easy right?"
It was from this on they finally worried of the transportation that they need to go back to the Avengers. Luckily, Steve had a mini-transponder in his pocket. Looks like the scientist have not checked me yet anyways. Unfortunately, the transponder has been damaged.
Let me take a look, said Tony. Good thing his intelligence still kicks in. It is not common that people regain their previous life after a coincidence like that.
After some tweaks, Tony concluded that it could only be used once, then it will be garbage. Then, with their last chance, Steve send the distress signal through the transponder towards Sam. Then, they wait.
