Chapter 10: Traps

After a few hours of travelling, the Avengers and Coulson finally arrived at Þingvallastræti 99, Súðavík. They parked the SUVs the building across. Then, they got out and dispatch. They rushed in and crashed the door open. What is inside they can't believe. 

It was just a warehouse with only a crate. A crate of C4 armed and ready to blow. It's a trap. Sandstorm are smarter than we think. Then, for a split second, a timer showed and it says 1 second left. The Avengers and agents from S.H.I.E.L.D didn't have time to escape and the C4 blew up.

A blast like that would wipe out the whole neighborhood easily. But as they prepared for the blast, it did not happen at all. All opened their eyes and saw agent Daisy Johnson containing the explosion with her powerful waves. Then, when the C4 was no longer harmful Daisy let go and she immediately collapsed. The next second Coulson ran to Daisy's aid and said"Daisy, are you ok, answer me!" 

The next moment, they all rushed back to their SUVs and head back to the base while agent Johnson is still unconscious. 

After a few hours, they finally arrived at the base and Daisy woke up in the treatment bay. The first person she saw was Coulson. "Thank God you are alright. The doctor said you will be fine, just some minor injuries." Coulson immediately said after she woke up. 

Daisy was grateful as she have saved the whole team from their doom. As she was led out, the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D agents put on a party as a remembrance of her courage and bravery. 

But, that does not last long.

Coulson then said, "Sandstorm is getting stronger and powerful, we must act now and get the first data cache before it is too late."

All agreed and they started to form a plan and execute it later on. So the plan will somehow go like this. First step, we must uncover the data in the device May has found. I did not know why we did not do that first...But anyways....there we go. 

Inside the device, it is stated for a password that they do not know. So, Natasha and May went back to the captives, Leo, Magenta, and Ward for intel. 

After a few minutes of playing rough, they both got the password. It is r*7j#n3. Then, May and Romanoff said "Do. not. ask. how.". Well the others know not to show any sign of curiosity.

Then, they opened it, it was full of documents of lab reports and report of experiments done on captives. The approval of those documents is someone named Ovan Varko. He might be the boss of Leo and Magenta. It is told that he has a warehouse down in Sokovia (that's how the Uvies got there). After those uncoveries, the team got some rest for the next day.

So, Steve said, "You guys should get some rest, it is already late and you need it for tomorrow."

Coulson replied "Hey, that's my line"

Aside from that little argument, all went smooth and they all got to bed, ready for the next day.
