But a human could only bear that much pain. Soon all the frustration and dispair took over. He would stay out late at night, reeking of alcohol when he came back. Sometimes he wouldn't come home for days. Jungkook seemed to look for trouble. He was overly aggressive and angry all the time.
When Jin hyung and i arrived at the hospital that night. It was already to late. Eyewitnesses told the police about a knife fight in a dark allay. They never found the culprits.
When i called hyung to tell him what happend... he hung up without saying another word. Later when Jin hyung and i came back home, he had disappeared. Jungkook's funeral was one week later when seoul's cherry blossoms were still in full bloom. It was a beautiful yet sad image. Jungkook would have loved it. I saw Yoongi hyung at the funeral. He stood in the last row. Neither i or Jin hyung talked to him though. It was to early, i just hoped he would come closer to say goodbye to our friend once everyone was gone.
A few days past when i read the article. It happened in a motel not far away from our old neighborhood.
Even now years later i dream of him standing in those flames alone ...
