Chapter 1
I was walking to my locker. That's all I was doing. You're probably wondering what I'm talking about. Well, let me start at the beginning.
"Honey, wake up! You're going to be late for school!" My mom yelled up to me. It's another one of those dreaded mornings, but this particular morning is terrible. It's a Monday morning. My mom called me from the kitchen to wake up, again. I got dressed and headed down to eat breakfast. Sadly, I wasn't fast enough.
"Hey, Jessica. Bet I can beat you down the stairs, slowpoke!" It's my brother Aaron. He always wants to compete against me, like he's better than me. Aaron is my older brother, and I have a younger brother too. His name is Percy. I'm the only girl, besides my mom, of coarse.
After I ate breakfast, I got ready for school. My mom called again about being late. I got in the car, and my mom drove me to school.
