Tuesday through Thursday was uneventful. It's Friday today, and I'm hoping it stays that way. It was study hall, my last period of the day. Shadow was sleeping, and I was watchig YouTube with Mitchell. The classroom got really quiet all of a sudden. I looked up and a green hedgehog, with a black leather coat and a scar on his chest, was reaching for Shadow.

I pulled Shadow away from his reach, and shoved the hedgehog away from my desk. He looked exactly like Sonic, except he was green with blue eyes. Sonic was blue with green eyes. His jacket was open to show his huge scar. He smirked at me with his sharp teeth. "Hey. Could you give me the kid, babe?" he asked. "First of all, don't call me babe. Second, you aren't getting Shadow, you freak!" I yelled. I realized the green Sonic doppleganger was Scourge the Hedgehog.

"Then, I'll have to take him by force!" He lunged at me; a knife in his hand. Mitchell threw a paper clip at Scourge; the paper clip hit his eye. Scourge squeezed his eye shut, and covered his eye with his hand. I handed Shadow to Mitchell and grabbed my binder to fight Scourge. "A binder, really?" Scourge laughed. "This thing is heavy, and I could cause some damage to your face and spine with it," I told him. "Fair enough." Scourge shrugged.

He ran towards me, and I jumped back; holding my binder like a shield. Everyone had left the classroom, so it was just me and Scourge. *Keep Shadow safe, Mitchell.* Scourge slashed at me with his knife, so I swept my foot under him. He fell on his back. I smacked his face with my binder; his nose started bleeding. "I'll kill you!" he screamed. He jumped up and stabbed at me. I held up my binder, and the knife stabbed it. "See? I told you a binder was useful!" I pushed my binder towards him; throwing him back into the wall. "You stupid girl!" He lunged towards me, and stabbed my shoulder.

I screamed in pain, and punched his stomach with my good arm. He jerked back, holding his stomach. I kicked him in the chest; he fell into the desks. I hit him with my binder until he lost conciousness. I stumbled out of the classroom, holding my shoulder.

All the students and teachers were outside, so I walked outside. "Jessica!" Fall screamed. "Are you alright?" Judi asked me, worried. "I'm fine. Where's Shadow?" I yelled. Mitchell walked up to me with Shadow in his arms. I stroked Shadow's fur; my vision going fuzzy. I heard sirens, and the last thing I remember was an ambulance pulling up, and people rushing towards me. Then, I slipped into darkness.
