France: Are you sure there will be no trouble if I stay?

Germany: Not at all! Besides, we both have a question to ask Switzerland

France: You're right, let's go in

Germany knocked on the door, and opened it upon receiving no response. France remained slightly behind him, taking his hand.

Germany: Switzerland! I'm home!

Switzerland: Welcome, Deutschland , you arrive just in time for lunch and - She paused slightly, noticing that there was a guest - Oh! Who do we have here?

France: Bonjour, Switzerland! If it doesn't bother you, I would like to accompany you for lunch

Germany: Please! -Germany clasped his hands, begging his eldest sister-

Switzerland: I would never say no to a girl as adorable as you, please get comfortable

France: Really? -France took a small leap of joy- Thank you very much!

Germany: Austria isn't home?

Switzerland: No, he decided to invite you know who to a restaurant...I feel sorry for him, he will never give up, that boy does not have a bit of dignity left...

France and Germany just shared a discreet laugh because of Switzerland's complaints about Austria

Switzerland: Well, let's not stress for him, wash your hands and I'll serve the food

After a busy time in which Switzerland dedicated herself to placing pans with various dishes on the table, the three could sit

Switzerland: I know your tastes are a bit more refined than this, France, but your visit was quite improvised

France: Don't worry, Switzerland! Everything looks delicious

Switzerland: Although you two never do things so suddenly... What is your plan?

Germany: Well...we had one thing we wanted to ask you

Switzerland: Oh, really? What question?

Germany: How did you live the great war?

Switzerland: Oh, so you were finally stinged by curiosity. Okay, there's no better time than this to tell you. So take a plate, serve yourselves a good portion and be welcome to a 1916 outside the battlefield.

From the icy and imposing alps, a girl watched incessantly the disaster that her continent had become. Her eyes, just as icy as those of her brothers, could not depart from the Isonzo River , she couldn't help seeing all the photographs that came from the Verdun front, too bloody to be published, that made her know that the best decision she had taken had been demanding respect for her neutrality. As much as the 3 had been raised in the Teutonic way and had earned the Germanic look, Switzerland  could not be more different to Germany and Austria, she did not understand what was the fervor for "victory" and "sacrifice"; ever since she saw France being pierced by her own sword in 1815, she had begun to repudiate every battle that took place in Europe, and the few times she raised a weapon was to defend herself, just as on that occasion.

Switzerland started walking down the mountain to reach her capital, Bern. To tell the truth, living with her cities no longer excited her, no matter who she spoke to, the propaganda of one side or another had already gotten into their heads and they dared to insist that she choose a side, in the case of Bern, each encounter meant a repetition of the question "Will you consider joining the Entente?" and going with Zurich implied the same question, but on the side of the central powers, it not only seemed irritating, it felt insulting. Switzerland ended up so wrapped up in those thoughts that when she realized, she was already well within the city.
