Strange, life is very... Strange. Sometimes you may not know what you're fighting for but you get the urge to be a part of something bigger than you ever imagined. Sometimes though, something bigger, can lead to absolute chaos and destruction that you never expected.

This is a world or, universe I should say that has been labeled MW308. A timeline where Tom has attempted to not only kill me but our friends as well. Matt our group leader of a once happy home was turned on by that bastard. I hate him, stupid commie bastard with his blue eyes and strength for days... I hate him but at the same time, the reasons I hate him are also the reasons I love him. Toxic... Isn't it? How you could devote yourself to someone but hate them so much. Loyalty was always a struggle. I want to do anything for him but his goals are so twisted.

I wish I could simply erase the history and memories between us. He wasn't always this power hungry beast that seemed distant and cruel at heart. He... He was once was sweet and kind, gentle and compassionate. What happened to him?

"Tord! It's time. Let's get this thing going. I believe this technology will give us the ability to travel in ways we never expected. Imagine, crossing the land and seas in the blink of an eye and catching the enemy off guard." Tom chuckled and grabbed me by my shoulders forcing me to be close to his side. The smell of stale cigarettes still lingering on his uniform even through the stains of copper scented blood, "This is a day of history! One I won't let you forget."

I sighed and looked down sadly. How? How had he changed so quickly from when I'd first met him? Tom pushed me forwards towards a lever that would begin the machine's power. I should destroy it. Nothing good will come from this I know it. We shouldn't mess with forces we don't understand. We could upset the very purpose of time and space. Don't do this to me. Don't make me do this.

"Pull it." Tom's short but strong command hit me like a fist in my stomach. I shouldn't do this. If I didn't would he kill me? Torture me? Why am I listening to him still? I should have ran off to the rebellion when I had the chance. How could I have expected that he could change? That I could talk some sense into him? Why on Earth did I trust him?

Clearly I hesitated too long. Tom came up behind me and chuckled as his height and bulk surrounded me, "I told you... Pull it. That's an order. Or do you not care for me anymore? My dear pet. Trust me." His voice purred and I couldn't help but fall into his trap. That deep voice worn with war along with the hands that started to travel up my sides and to my arms that held on to the lever that could destroy all of what we'd known.

"Thomas... This is-" Tom growled and kissed my neck in his way of shutting me up. I can't resist him. No matter how hard I try I continue to give in. I melted against him and shivered involuntarily. Why do you do this to me? You sick bastard...

"I believe you were told to call me Blue, or your blue leader. I'll let it slide. Just this once." My hands were held by his own and we pulled the lever together.

Flashes of light sparked from the machine as the engines started to whirl and hiss with power then it happened. Something I couldn't describe... The room seemed bigger and smaller all at once as if the place couldn't decide. Purple light circled the room and shadows appeared across the way. Two figures seemed to stand beside one another. I looked at Tom and nervously turned around to hide in his chest not sure of what would come next.

Tom held me close and laughed madly as the noises of metal and machines boomed and screamed around us. My eyes closed tight behind the goggles that gave me my sight back from having been lost. Fear and terror we're all I knew. What have we done. What did we do?

"Tom! You idiot! What did you do! This is not what was meant to happen you good for nothing giant! How dare you! This is your fault! Look around! That machine was supposed to teleport us to anywhere! Not do nothing!" A voice filled my ears that in a way reminded me of my own. But the way it spoke reminded me so much of Tom when he was mad and decided to try and torture me for a simple mistake only to make up for it in a plea of love and promises that were never held true."
