Tord:
The rebellion had prepared for a few days figuring out the best plan of how to get through the enemy's forces. Tonight was the night. They'd sent me ahead of everyone to sneak past the guards and make my way to the towers. Tom wasn't too far behind but due to what happened in the meeting Matt and Edd had tried to keep us separate. As if they could do that for long...

I silently slipped my way through the base and made my way to the towers eventually noticing that the men were mostly asleep. My tracks were slow and light as could be and I moved with lightning speed. A knife right now was my best friend. It killed them quickly and easily without a sound.

One of the soldiers made it a bit more difficult for me though. He went to run away from me but I managed to pin him down and cover his mouth before snapping his neck. Thankfully no one had come to help and ruin the mission. I pulled a hand radio that the rebel army gave me and let them know that the snipers were down and to start advancing onwards.

I grabbed one of the guns and looked around seeing a guard walking his rounds beside another, "Shit..." Thankfully the gun had a silencer on it and I was able to quickly take both of them out. It felt too easy. I don't like it. There should be more.

Eventually I made my way down from the tower and silently made my way to the meet up point where Tom and the rest would meet up. I looked at the time and shook my head. It shouldn't be taking them this long.

Down the hall I heard people yelling at each other and I couldn't help but let curiosity get the better of me. When I got to the place where the yelling had come from I was at a door that had been cracked open. Red and Blue leader were behind it and a soldier that I'd once known well was strapped to a chair beaten. I knew he had switched sides to the rebellion. He'd been working as a spy and was trying to get as much information as possible.

"We know you work for the rebellion now tell us, Where are Tom and Tord?"

"I told you already! I don't know! I don't! I swear!" The Raven haired man looked at them in horror before he was tortured again. I covered my mouth and gasped without realizing it. Red paused a moment before turning his head towards the door with a smirk, "Oh really? Easedropping on conversation are you? Come out come out wherever you are.~"

I froze a moment before pulling out a disk I was told could make me invisible for as long as an hour. I bit down on it and watched my arms and everything I carried disappear. Red leader opened the door and looked right past me glaring. He looked up and down the hall before chuckling, "What a shame... Must have ran off."

Until he closed the door again I didn't breathe. I didn't move I didn't do anything. I couldn't. Even after I was frozen in place for a bit. A flash of light down the hall was what broke me out of my fear and I made my way back. It came from the barracks. When I got there red army soldiers were laying on the ground dead.

"This feels too easy."

"No one's put up a fight."

"Why hasn't anyone noticed?"

Matt and Edd had soldiers asking questions about it all and seemed just as confused themselves as the rest of us were. I spat out the disk and slowly was able to be seen again before looking at Tom who had the same thought I did. It wasn't often this happened but when a soldier went missing from time to time blue leader would let the defenses fall. It was a fairly easy thing to do, but soon I knew that flash of light would be bringing the stronger soldiers. It was a trap. We should have known better...

Before the soldiers came out way I grabbed Tom's hand and looked at him, "Either we die together or we make it out of here together. I'm not leaving your side."

Tom nodded and let my hand go before standing back to back as we drew our weapons. We'll have to get through as many as we can. There's going to be a likely chance we may not make it out. Our tech may be advanced but even so the gun we used in the barracks has to charge again. It's back to how we used to fight. Guns, hands, knives, and pure luck.

When the soldiers came it was a bloody mess. Rebel soldiers attempted to hold their ground but started dropping like flies. Matt and Edd stood back to back just as Tom and I did and we slowly made our way through the soldiers. Tom and I ran for it finding an opening with Matt and Edd right behind. Sadly though Matt got pulled back into a group of soldiers.

"NO! LET HIM GO!" I yelled and started shooting as many soldiers as I could before running out of ammo and stealing a couple guns off of dead soldiers on the ground continuing to make my way through them. Edd pulled me back against my will picking me up and pulling me away. I knew it was useless to fight that many on my own. I probably couldn't get to Matt in time anyway. No matter if I tried there's too many soldiers.

"Tord! Stop! He's gone! He's gone... If we stay here we'll be dead just the same. We have to fall back."

I kicked and cried in Edd's arms but I knew he was right. If we stayed nothing good would happen. Tom eventually took over holding me back and I broke down crying. I forced my legs to move until I was sprinting as fast as I could towards the gates. Tears streamed down my face and burned with my speed. Tom Edd and I were the only ones that made it out of there. At least 100 men were gone. Lost in time just like that... Edd made a portal back to the rebel base and I fell into Tom's arms.

All I hope is that this war ends. Let it end soon. I can't take any more pain. Let it end.

Other members of the rebel army circled around us and Edd simply shook his head in defeat. Torm was. In the crowd and watched as I fell to pieces. He even teared up but eventually went emotionless and hugged me along with Tom.

"One way or another, we'll avenge them. I know you did your best." Torm looked at Tom and narrowed his eyes a moment before backing away. Sila came up to me and sighed sadly, "I have to talk with you. It's important. We have 3 more battles. I need to give you advice on how to go about this."

I nodded slowly and pulled myself together, "R-Right. Tell us when and where and we'll be sure to meet you."

Sila nodded and told me before going with Torm. Everything is falling apart. I pray that perhaps there's going to be a miracle. One step forward made three steps back. Let luck be with us. Lord knows we need it.
