This memory is when she still lived in Michigan.

We were visiting our aunt again and we stopped by her house. My dad asked if she wanted to come with us to the Sand Dunes. Of course she said yes because seeing us grow up and have fun was something that she enjoyed seeing. She packed a couple of things for us to take. She packed some waters of course, a snack, a couple of towels, because sand likes to go everywhere especially in the car when there is carpet everywhere and cloth is a thing instead of leather. It wasn't fun to clean out because it doesn't come out easily. Anyway, we get to the dunes and she takes out her camera and my siblings and I start rolling down the hills, which was super fun as a child because you do not think of the consequences of the sand being everywhere and in everything. She takes out her camera and snaps tons of pictures of us and the scenery.

We were there doing that for a couple hours, the only part that sucked was going back up the hills, which felt like it took days. But then you want to go down again because it is fun to do. We finished having our fun and stood by the car, ate something small, drank some water, and tried to brush off the sand as much as we could do. The towels that we had, we put them on the seats, per aunties request, and sat on them instead of having the sand in the cracks and creases of the car, having them in the car. EASY CLEAN UP. Never knew until she said something. Dad didn't think of it because he was so tired from working and driving, which I respect him so much for. We get back to her house, get out of the car and folded the towels, dusted them outside and headed inside.

"Everyone get ready to take a shower because you still have sand in your hair and on your skin. We have to wash your clothes and make sure all the sand comes out." She said with a little bass in her voice. She knew that it was going to take everyone forever to get in and out. While we were showering, our aunt was making food. I was the first one done, so I went into the kitchen and asked if she needed help. "Yes, I do actually. I got these greens out of the garden and I would love for you to wash them thoroughly and put them on the counter." I washed my hands, even though I just took a shower, and got started. She showed me how to do it and I started doing it the same way. We were laughing and cooking and it was just a wonderful time. She always brought me a lot of happiness and joy.

Then everyone was finished showering and looking fresh and clean and we started eating food. We had a feast, which was good because we used a lot of energy playing and rolling around.

This is a memory I always remember because it was a lot of fun and laughter in this time. Sorry this isn't long, but it is just what I remember. Thanks for reading.
