(Later that evening Clark sulked in his room)
(The encounter with Bruce had left him drained and uneasy, Clark didn't know what to do about any of it)
(It was then that Clark received a text, it was from Diana)
Diana: "Still awake?"
(Clark texted back)
Clark: "Yeah. What's up?"
Diana: "I need to see you."
(Clark's heart soared and his jaw dropped)
Clark: "..you mean now?"
Diana: "If you'd like. Come by my room in a few minutes if you're up for it."
(A wide smile broke over Clark's face as he raced out the door, faster than a speeding..well you know)
(Clark knocked on Diana's door, his nervousness at an all time high, he barely steadied himself when she opened the door)
(Diana was wearing a gorgeous red gown and her hair was rather unkempt compared to how it usually looked, Clark gulped as her eyes wandered over him)
Clark: "Diana..is everything okay?"
Diana: "It will be. In a moment."
(Without further hesitation Diana grabbed Clark and yanked him into her room with her, the door closing behind them)
