(Later on Clark fully suited up as Superman walked into the Global Analysis room where Bruce also suited up as Batman was scanning things on a large computer screen, his back was turned away from Clark as Clark walked in)

Batman: "Something you need?"

Superman: "Oh..not exactly. I just thought we should talk."

Batman: "I'm busy. Can it wait?"

Superman: "No it can't."

(Batman sighed and turned around and crossed his arms)

Batman: "Well?"

Superman: "Look I know that you've been away for a while Bruce, but..I don't know...lately you've been acting kind of.."

Batman: "Kind of what, Kent?"

Superman: "...kind of rude to me."

(Bruce grinned and rolled his eyes but Clark's anger only grew)

Clark: "And frankly I'm not sure why. I thought we were.."

Bruce: "What Clark? You thought we were friends?"

(Clark's eyes narrowed)

Clark: "I used to."

(Bruce stepped towards Clark threateningly)

Bruce: "And what's that supposed to mean?"

Clark: "I see what you're doing Bruce."

Bruce: "Do you?"

Clark: "Yes. You're trying to steal Diana from..!"

(Clark stopped, realizing what he'd nearly admitted out loud for the first time)

(Bruce's eyebrows rose in amusement)

Bruce: "Steal her huh? So when exactly did she agree to be yours?"

(Clark hesitated awkwardly, hating himself for letting his emotions slip out)

Clark: "...please don't tell her.."

Bruce: "Tell her what, Clark? That you love her? Or that I'm trying to 'steal her from you'? Maybe I'll just tell her the truth. That the mighty Man of Steel is really just a love sick puppy dog."

(Batman moved to brush past him but Superman lost his temper and shoved Bruce across the room, sending him crashing into the computer, damaging it)

(Batman grimaced and glared at Clark who breathed heavily as the anger on his face faded replaced with remorse for what he'd just done)

Clark: "Bruce I.."

Batman: "Don't worry, Clark. You didn't hurt me."

(Bruce picked himself up and clutched his side as he walked past Clark)

Bruce: "At least not as badly as Diana will hurt you when she sees you for who you really are."

(The two men shared a glare as Bruce left the room, once he was gone, Clark let out a frustrated yell and smashed what remained of the computer screen)
