Trial of the Trinity

Clayface

(Batman and Wonder Woman entered the Watchtower, Aquaman greeted them)

Arthur: "Where've you guys been?"

Batman: "Arthur, we have a situation. Someone in the Watchtower has been manipulating everyone."

Diana: "Whoever it is looks just like Bruce and knows everything about us. He poisoned Clark with Silver Kryptonite."

Arthur: "What? How many damn colors of that shit are there?"

Batman: "More than I was aware of. We've got to get to the bottom of this. And fast."

(Barry sped in, suited up as The Flash)

Barry: "Did someone say fast?"

(Bruce rolled his eyes while Diana gave Barry a grateful smile)

Batman: "We'll need all hands on deck for this. Where's Victor?"

Cyborg over comms: "I'm going through the Watchtower database. Looks like somebody knew how to get past all of my security upgrades."

Diana: "Whoever it was must be very smart."

(Batman nodded, considering who it could be)

(Suddenly a wall burst open and the other Batman walked out with a grin on his face as he stared at the Justice League members who took their battle stances)

Fake Batman: "Well I guess there's no need to hide my face anymore."

(He slowly transformed into a massive oozing brownish orange monster before the JL's eyes, most of them were taken aback and surpised but Batman just glared knowing exactly who this was)

Batman: "Clayface."

Barry: "What face?!"

Arthur: "Huh? I thought it was Two-Face."

Cyborg: "No no that's a different..different guy."

(Clayface chuckled, a monstrous booming voice echoing through the room)

Clayface: "Miss me..Batman?"

Batman: "You're supposed to be in Arkham, Karlo. Why the charade?"

Clayface: "Easy." (He formed a large fist) "The role of a lifetime!"

(Clayface attacked, throwing a mud ball at them but Flash dodged and Wonder Woman and Aquaman sliced through it with their weapons)

Batman: "Clearly you didn't accomplish all of this on your own. Who are you working for?"

(Clayface chuckled)

Clayface: "Come on Mister detective. Don't you already know?"

(Batman narrowed his eyes as he dodged Clayface's next strikes, he selected an ice grenade gadget from his belt and flung it at Clayface, freezing his arm)

(Wonder Woman leapt in and sliced the frozen arm off, making Clayface roar in pain, Clayface began to grow back another arm but before he did Flash threw lightning and Cyborg fired rockets which dealt a great deal of damage to Clayface)

(Aquaman then twirled his trident and conjured a blast of water using the water cooler nearby to draw from, and blasted it at Clayface who started to melt away)

Clayface: "No! This isn't happening!"

(A familiar voice came out of nowhere)

"Take it from me.."

(Clayface's remaining body turned to face a pair of red boots, with a red cape flowing just behind them)

Superman: "..You should learn to accept reality."

(Diana's face lit up into a smile when she saw him)

Clayface: "No!!!"

(Superman blasted Clayface with the full force of his heat vision, splattering him all over the room)

(There were a few moments of awkward silence...then Superman shrugged and gave an apologetic grin)

Superman: "Sorry about the mess. I'll pay for it I promise."

Batman: "On a reporter's salary? Right.."

Cyborg: "Don't sweat it I'm sure I can vacuum this all up."

Flash: "What, you've got a robot vaccum cleaner arm?"

Cyborg: "Something like that."

Batman: "He'll reform eventually, when he does I've got a special containment cell on the lower floor where we can hold him."

Aquaman: "That's great and all but we still don't know who hired this mud pile."

Superman: "I do."

(They all looked at him, surprised)

Superman: "Who's the one person who knows everything about us, Bruce? Who would know how to hack into our systems and turn us against each other? And who else would know about Kryptonite and have the resources to get it?"

(Batman nodded, knowing exactly who Clark was referring to)
