Rin didn't expect some weird K-pop looking guy to pop up during a mission and try to pin him against a statue, but it definitely happened.
See, there was an issue with a gem creature running around Mephisto's amusement park and messing with people. So the park had to be closed down and the Gem Warriors in training had to find and get rid of the creature.
Rin didn't think it was such a loss having to close down the park filled with the creep's face everywhere you looked, but he wasn't gonna say that to the clown's face. The dude may be nutty, but he was no wimp. He had power to back him up.
So here Rin was, trying to call Yukio and inform him that he and Shiemi had found the Gem creature when he was pushed into the pedestal of the giant Mephisto statue. He dropped his phone in surprise as his wrists were pinned and a threatening presence made itself known right in front of him. Sudden flashbacks of the last time he was pinned helpless like this flashed in his mind and he struggled.
The person didn't even move an inch.
"What do you want?!" Rin demanded.
"To see you." Came the simple answer. It confused Rin so much that he stopped struggling and stared at his assailant.
He was taller than Rin(which wasn't hard to achieve seeing as Rin was only 5'6), with green hair that was styled with a spike protruding from the crown of his head. His outfit was a mess patter-wise and almost painful to look at–a pink and purple striped dress shirt buttoned all the way to the top under a pastel green vest with an atrocious lime green tie, a torn maroon overcoat with yellowed skull buttons, dark green arm warmers and leggings, black polka-dotted shorts, and finally, black boots with more skull buttons.
Rin stared.
"What the fuck?" He asked without thinking. The guy tilted his head. He was obviously a gem if the hair color and style was any indication, not go me too the slightest green tint to his skin.
"You are most interesting to Satan and Mephisto. I want to know why." The man answered. He kept Rin's hands pinned to the pedestal as he crouched, looking straight at Rin's Sapphire.
"But how are you interesting if you are just your weak mother?" The man questioned curiously.
"Can I at least know who you are before you start judging me, please?!" Rin snapped. He hated people staring at him like this. It made him feel like he was always doing something wrong, or maybe his existence was just wrong.
"Oh, right. I am Amaimon. I'm an Emerald from Homeworld." He introduced himself.
He examined Rin Sapphire closely, scrutinizing it. "What's so amazing about this Sapphire?" He murmured.
Rin brought up a leg to knee the Emerald in the chin. Then he ran for it. Amaimon the Emerald from Homeworld wasn't letting him go that easily though. He lunged and grabbed Rin. The teen yelled and began struggling again. Suddenly, Amaimon hissed and sat back from the Sapphire.
Rin opened his eyes to see who his savior was, only to notice the flickering blue flames he was producing. Damnit.
On the plus side, they seemed to hurt Amaimon if the new burns on his hands were any indication. "How? How is this possi–" the Emerald's gaze snapped down to Rin's glowing Gem. It was glowing, but only from the inside, curiously enough.
"How can this happen?" Amaimon wondered. He stared at the gem inside Rin's Sapphire, hidden by the deep blue of the gem.
"Blue Diamond." The man whispered, like it was a secret, even though his voice was still monotone and his face had the exact same expression it'd had the whole time.
