Chapter 6

Jurked up by the chain, Dani falls to the floor. I struggle big time, Chen pulls out a gun, firing a round and it lounges in my shoulder. "Continue the be a nuance and I'll aim at the kids next time." Chen said. I round on Chen, a second shot rings out, I cry as it embeds into my knee cap. "I can empty this clip in you, try me." Chen said. Clouse grabs my arm, pulling me up and I'm forced to walk on the leg. His black magic is surrounding my arms, his keeping me in his grip. Looking up, I see Danny glairing at Chen.

At the underground pit, were chained in vengestone cuffs. I pant heavily in pain, my shoulder and knee killing me. Lloyd leans beside me, I lean on hem to take the weight off my leg. Chen holds his staff of elements out, I pick the lock. The metal thunking of them hitting the floor and me dashing forward, has Chen moving in shock. The manacles are still on my wrists and I send huge fireballs at Chen. I caught everyone by surprise, even the other masters. A call goes out, Danny and the others drop down. It's over before everyone knows it. Danny pulls me close, holding me as Kiara and Dani hold onto me.

Later, Zane is wrapping my knee in a cast on the Bounty while the other masters get to know my husband and kids. Zane gives me crutches, I walk out. Coming to the deck, I'm stopped by Lloyd. "I want to say I'm sorry, I know nothing I say or do will ever...." I pull Lloyd into a hug. He cries into my shoulder. "I forgave all of you long ago. I look at it this way. If I hadn't been sent, I wouldn't have this. I have my family and I owe it all to y'all." Lloyd wrips his eyes as Danny walks over.

"Say, want to have dinner with us." Danny asks. Everyone nods and we head to Greg's diner. Going in, we sit down. All in all, it went well. Cole gave me back the bracelet, but I told hem to keep it. He's a member now. Neuro shoots a glance at me, I narrow my eyes, he chuckles. Later, I sit on mine and Danny's bed, pulling off the pants I have on. Danny comes, he helps. Laying back, tucking my arm under my gead, I feel Danny curl beside me. Wrapping his arm around me, I fall asleep.

My leg takes two months to heal, but during it, I rekindle the severed bonds with the ninja. Now, I'm getting ready for a meeting with them. An age old enemy of both of us has finally showed his ugly mug again. We come up the deck of the Bounty, Lloyd walking over. "Danny, it's good to see you." He says. I have my helmet on so none know it's me. "Is like to introduce my second-in-command, Pyro. He was away on a mission last time and got back just in time for this one." Lloyd extends a hand, I take it. "Glad to finially meet cha, say, where's Kai." Lloyd says. "He stayed behind to watch the kids. The incident with Chen has hem spooked." Danny said. Lloyd nods, we follow hem inside. I lean on the wall, listening to them talk. "Say, Pyro." Jay calls. I look up, he holds a map. "Do you know some locations of Paradox." He asks. Walking over, there's nothing on the map. Taking a pen, I start circling areas I've encountered hem. Danny stands beside me "Pyro, whole we protect Ninjago inside her borders, Pyro goes outside of them. He sees more action than any of us." Danny explains. I nod my head as I continue. Soon, five dozen circles are on the map.

Lloyd smirks "You have the memory of Kai." He laughs. I look at Danny and the others, they all nod. Reaching up, uncliping the back of my helmet, I pull it off. Jay reels back, Nya is shocked. Garmadon crosses his arms "About time." He said. "You knew." Lloyd said. Garmadon chuckles, he rolls his sleeve up, reviling his Assassin's mark.

"Kai is the person who recruits the members." Danny says. I look over the map once more, but there's no more. "He mostly attacked the southern borders. That would be the best bet to get hem." I said. We head out. Pulling on my helmet as we near, it's a good thing too, a blast slams into me. I ball over the railing, a hand griping my neck has me looking at Paradox. I forgot, Paradox has a grudge against me, I sent his sister to the curse realm. "Its time to pay." He says, opening a portal. He throws me in and I'm raked by pain. Landing hard, I dislocate my shoulder and creak a few ribs. Paradox had followed me, he lands on my back, I roll hem off. Flipping, I skid before my counterpart. Paradox charges and I've had it.
