Danny's p.o.v

When Ray and Maya told us Kai was taken to the past, it broke my heart. We patiently wait, I hold our daughters, Erika wanting her mama. The temporal vortex opens, Krux and Acronix jump out as the Iron Doom explodes. "No...Kai." I screamed. Looking at Krux as Cole hand cuffs hem, Acronix laughs. Lloyd grabs his hands, cuffing them as well. "Good luck getting Pyro back, he's lost in time. Plus, the only means of you getting hem back is scattered to the winds. So, good luck." Jay cold cocks Acronix, I'll thank hem later. Kiara cries into my side as Dani cries in Ray's arms. Erika whines, I hold her close. "Long ago, we betrayed Kai, we abandoned hem in his time of need." Cole begins. I look, hoping they'll help. Cole comes over, resting a hand on my shoulder. "We will get hem home. Kai is our brother, and we will not leave hem to stand alone. Where ever he is, we'll find and bring Kai home." Jay finishes. I feel hope, soon Kai, I'll have you back in my arms.

Kai's p.o.v

Leaning on a support pillar, I watch dad as he fawns over mom. It's unnerving to see a scene so close to Danny when I'm pregnant. Movement has me looking at Wu. He smiles "Every life is to be cherished. Don't cha think. You have three daughters, trying for a boy still." He asks me. "It's only been a year since I birth Erika..." "Ah, your a reproducing male." Garmadon says, coming up the other side. "Happily married to Danny Fowl. I took his name. Daniela is eldest, Kiara is her twin and Erika is the baby for now. Me and Danny will have one more than I'm done." I say. "Hey, Kai." Dad says. I told them all my name a short time ago. I look at dad. "Want to feel." Dad says, rubbing mom's four month belly. I go over, kneeling and rest a hand on mom's belly, near the pelvis. Thumps are felt, I smile. "Hey, little man, I'm you." Thumps respond. "Is that so, your gonna love mom and dad." The masters watch as I talk to myself. A hard thump is felt, mom wrences. "Oh, you hurt mom." A softer thump is felt. Mom threads her fingers in my hair, she gently tugs, I move closer, resting my head on her knee. She tugs harder, pulling me to where my cheek is against her belly and holds me, one hand threaded in my hair, the other on my shoulder blades. I stay like that for a while, she places one of my arms around her back, I rub circles on it.

After a bit, mom shifts, wanting to stand. I stand, holding my hands out and she pulls up. Dad leads her away to their room. Looking outside, I see the setting sun. Garmadon shows me the room that's actually mine when I stay at the monastery. Going in, undressing, I take the gold gi off.

This power is Lloyd's, why is it with me suddenly. Why would it choose me as a new host with the past I have. My hand sparks gold just as the door opens. Garmadon has a tray of food in hand. He sets it on the bed, I sit, setting the sandwich and drinking the water. Looking back at the gi, Garmadon sees. "What's the matter." He asks. "This power." I form a gold ball. "It's not mine. It's Lloyd's. He gained it fighting the Overlord and than lost most of it against the digital Overlord. I'm wondering why me. I'm the victim of accusing to the murder of a mother and her baby by burning them to death. Than, I'm sent to two different dimension, where both of my counterparts were treated the same. Six months into my second pregnancy, in kidnapped by a phyco Kai who turned from good and beat me everyday with a sledgehammer to my hips, knee caps and shoulder, burned my eye and hip. Than when I had Erika, my hips shattered in the process." I said. Garmadon sits beside me, he touches  my shoulder. "We do not know where our path will take us. All we can do is follow. I feel father wanted you to have this power for I believe he sees good in you. All those trials, you could have turned from good but, you stayed the same. You found happiness in your own way. In my opinion, father chose you cause you've known pain and suffering in all the fields." Garmadon says, he stands, I follow. "What I do now, Ray and Maya have a strong son. Any brothers and sisters." He asks. "Sister, five years younger. She took after mom." I say. "Than, she too is strong. Now, it's been a long day, I'm sure your tired so I'll leave you." Garmadon says, turning.

I reach for his arm, it stops hem. "Thank you, sensei." I say, bowing. He returns it, leaving. Looking at the setting sun, I hold the gi up. "If this is the path you want me on, I'll follow till my last breagh, I will follow." With that, I lay down, blanket pulled up and I fall asleep.
