Chapter 14

I'm rolling along one of the walk ways, taking designs to Krux. His brother returned a few hours ago. Coming in the room, Cyrus looks up at me than back to the power source for the Iron Doom. Machia looks at me, this is the first time I'm meeting her in person. "You have the designs I asked for, Smith." Krux said as he and Acronix walk in. I hold out the scroll, Krux goes to take it but I pull it back. "The names Kai Fowl. I'm married to another." Krux reaches for the scroll, I pull it back more. "My kids." Krux growls a sigh "Their safe. I keep my word." Satisfied, I hold the scroll out, letting Krux take it. "Good day, Krux, commander Machia, Acronix. Cyrus, I'll have my half of the frame later." I say. Cyrus nods, leaning over the control panel.

Turning, Machia stops me. "Cyrus has tried three times to sabatoge this project. If you...." "He knows the consciences if he does. Kai is a reproducing male, meaning, he's the mommy of three girls. He wouldn't dream or dare to do it." Krux said, his back turned to us. I go to leave, Machia grabs the armrest. I send a fire ball at her. "I warned you, Machia, he knows the outcome if he tries anything." Krux said as I leave. Rolling past the cells, I see Wu in a chair, Garmadon chained to the wall. Raggmunk and Blunck stand outside.

"Have they been fed or given water." I ask. The two look at each other, than Blunck shakes his head. "Don't cha think Krux would want that." I say. The two leave, I stay to watch them. "Thanks, I couldn't stand those two anymore. How you holding up." Garmadon asks as I stop before the cell door. "As okay as I'll ever be. I'm in a shack up the road, mom and dad are there." I said. A shadow covers the door, I turn to see Machia. "What are you doing here. And where are the two idiots." "I'm watching them, and I sent them to get food and water for my sensei's. Ir, would you like to explain why they died from dehydration and starvation." I said, my gaze not letting up. Machia hisses, leaving.

Garmadon's chuckle goes out. "You've got to be crazy to do that." He said. The two idiots show up, I watch as they feed my sensei's. Satisfied, I turn, heading back to the shop. On the way, I see four shapes, no people. Rolling behind, I grasp Jay's shoulder. He jolts, rounding on me and relaxes when he sees me. Cole, Zane and Nya turn to me, I motion them to follow. I see Danny off to the side, he's following along with Morro, Keth and Seth. Four vermilion troops move to the side as I took by, they know not to mess with me. Coming to the shop, I motion everyone in. Dad and mom perk up, Danny kneels, hugging me tight as he kisses me.

Dad and mom perk up at that, I turn to everyone. "How. Oh yeah." I hold the choker, the pendant a tracker. Dad goes to Danny, extending a hand. Danny shakes it, he nods. Devising a plan, I kiss Danny once more before they leave. Nya stays, she looks at the three of us. I go to the anvil, picking up the modulator for the Iron Doom. I sigh, right as the door opens. "Thought you had us." Krux said, walking in. I grin "You can't threaten me anymore. But, this piece is done." I say, handing it to Acronix. The twins lead us to a ship, Nya holds a blade.

Coming to the boiling sea, Krux knocks me out the chair. "You have to walk from here, sorry, cripple." He sneers. Nya helps me up but Acronix shoves her away. Father wants to move to me but a shake of my head and he stays. Me and Nya create the fusion dragon and head into the boiling sea to retrieve the time blade.

At the door of the gate, I've reached my limit of how far my legs can carry me. Colaping on the ground, Nya cradles my head. "Cole on, Kai. Only together can we open the door." Nya helps me up and together we open the door, retrieve the blade and head back. The dragon disappears and I lean on the mast. Sliding to the deck, the twins laugh at my pain. They threw the chair overboard and now, I can't move if I wanted to. Chains are wrapped around me, Aronix throws me over his shoulder and they go into the Iron Doom. I'm tossed on the ground at their feet and the twins activate the machine.

Coming to the time, I managed to pick the lock and get out. Using the console, I stand, pressing the button on my watch. Metal braces form on my legs and I jump. I made these for incase this happenes. Spinning, I unleash my fire on the vermilion.

Ray's p.o.v.

Badly out numbered, I stand infront of Maya. She's pregnant with our first born. My sword is knocked away by these snakes and I cover my beloved. Just as one goes to strike me down, fire, hotter than my own, covers them. A man, my age, lands before me and he unleashes a string of fire. All the masters are in shock, me more than any. He than turns to me "Get mother inside, father." He yells. The words hit, he's my son, but is he.... My son shoots fire at my feet. "Do you want us both to die, get mother and me inside, now." He yells. I nod, taking Maya inside. I look back, proud to call that man my son

Wu's p.o.v.

Watching the man claiming to be Ray and Maya's son, he turns to Krux and Acronix. Krux charges, Garmadon goes to meet hem but the man pulls a sword out, not just any sword, the Sword of Fire. He charges, meeting Krux and blocking Acronix. "I may be cripple, but, I know how Iron Doom works. How it functions. So, in a way, you fucked your own self up. For an old man, your not as wise as sensei's Wu and Garmadon." He said. Now me and brother look at each other, we trained hem. "Your team's not here, your husband, daughters...." the man pushes Krux back. "They may not be here in person, but, they are in spirit. So long as I hold them in my heart, they will lend me strength. Strength when I need it most, like right now." A golden light shoots from the man, the metal around his legs breaks off, his gi turns gold and he stands tall. "The....the power of the ultimate spinjitzu master. But....how." He says. The twins charge, USM shoots ice and lightning at them. He forces the twins to retreat, Krux throws a spear at the guy. It catches his gi pants leg, he struggles to tear it free. I run over as Iron Doom powers up. "No, no...no." the temporal vortex appears, the Iron Doom shoots into it. The USM pulls his hood down, tears falling and he hangs his head.
