Chapter 4 (Betrayal)

A day after, Eroe and the others left the De Cas Town and traveled to East ward territory of Woodland, a land where Woodland Nation and Lopia Nation. The tax collector stopped them for continuing, "Hey! Stay here! You can't cross the border yet! There's someone needs you to see." Eroe and the others were confused, "Who is it?" One of the Heroes showed up, saying, "Hello, Eroe. It's been a year since you betrayed me. Why don't you remove that mask of yours!" The hero removed his helmet, and Eroe saw his old friend, Kini. They were brought to the Orenyo Village. "What are you doing, Kini?!" Eroe asked. Dan prepared his guard, but Eroe let him lowered his guard, saying, "Save your mana." "In crime what you committed, for attempting to save the dragon sorcerer, you will be exterminate by the Hero named, Kini. Any last word?" Kini said to him. Eroe answered, "Kini! Listen to me, what you thought is wrong, the heroes are not the true rulers!" "Heroes or not, I will punish them, if they betray me!" Kini said as he is walking towards him. Eroe replied, "I don't want to hurt you, Kini. Stay back!" Kini tried to attack him. But Eroe, "I'm sorry," punched Kini directly into his face. Kini lost conscious. Dan and others were shocked, "Are you that bad?" Asked Charlette. "He is one of them, there's no time to waste. We need to save the Goddess of Perfection, and restore the peace," Eroe said to them ... They've made it to the border, the tax collector asks them, "You again? What do you want, and where's the hero?!" "He just greeted us, that's all. Now, we are crossing because you are on our way!" Said Eroe to the tax collector. They've paid five lanitian coin to the tax collector and they proceeded to their mission.

Heroes's Palace, Sento Nation. Denwald reported what happened to Kini, "He found the new holder of the Cursed Shadow!" "Where is that ronenio heading?!" Rendera asked. "They're heading towards the Dark Ocean," said Denwald. Vanesa respond, "Dark Ocean? Towards Costitian Contenent, towards Alter Nation!" "Darkness, we'll stop them!" Rendera shouted. Denwald asks, "Where?" "We have no time if we chase them, we need them to come to us," said Bonfrid.

When Eroe and others made it to the Zaxen Town, Lopia Nation, they rest for a night. When the sun rises they left and headed towards Ugin Village to rent a ship again. "Are you out of your mind?! Dark Ocean is a very risky destination!" Shouted by the sailor. Eroe respond, "Okay, I won't let you come with us, but we need a ship!" "Fine, go take Ujan, she is the only ship available," said the sailor. They've paid him fifty lanitian coin, and they went to the ship. "I'll be taking the first night of the sailing," said Eroe to them. Seno responded, "I'll be taking the second night!" "Already! Set sail!" Eroe shouted. The sails went down, and Eroe began sailing towards Dark Ocean.

When the moon rises, Dan talks to Eroe, "You truly loved her," he asked. Eroe replied, "Who?" "Venia," said Dan. Eroe answered, "I loved her since we first met." "You abandoned your friend to complete your mission, for her. Are you and Venia were competing to each other?" Dan asked. Eroe laughs and didn't replied. "As long as our little sister is happy, we are happy for her too," said Dan. "I feel weird using my aging power to turn back to child again to experience the happiness of life. Then, a knight just came and killed me, but you know I can't be killed. That time, I heard Venia, crying, her tears were the tears of the angels, who is calling my name from the darkness. When I woke up, there she is, wounded, lonely, crying Venia," he said. Dan was confused, "turn back to child again? Just how old are you?" He asked. Eroe answered, "I do not age, but I guess, I am a thousand years old. Thousand years and still existing."

Then, the waves changed. Huge waves were crashing into the ship. A storm just appeared on the middle of the ocean, and Eroe saw an octopus from the distance. Dan saw it too. The others went out from the cabin. Eroe passed the wheel to Dan, "Control the ship," he said. Eroe went to the front of the ship, but when the lightning lit up the place, a huge tentacle appeared beside the ship. Eroe and others were terrified. But Eroe removed his mask and released the power of the Cursed Shadow. "Hold the sail!" Eroe shouted. He jumped into the ocean. Seno and others tried following him, but the sea monsters appeared on their ship, "Crap! Sea monsters!"
