Type watched Tharn took step by step to the second floor. The farther Tharn got, the more tears filled his eyes, the heavier his lungs worked to supply oxygen all over his body so Type wouldn't collapse.
His left chest tightened when Tharn disappeared to go to the room where the love of his life was.
And the fact that it was not him really gave Type trouble to contain his disappointment.
Tharn loved someone else, his heart belonged to someone and it had been 4 years long. Type's 2-week with Tharn could not even come close to the strong bond Tharn had with his girlfriend.
Type scoffed in mockery to himself while tears started to roll down his cheeks. For the first time ever, Type wished he were a girl, so that his husband could see him as a love interest.
But he was not. That was the very first time Type ever had been disappointed in himself.
He was silently crying when an arm suddenly draped around his shoulders and massaged his upper arm. The gesture was enough to make Type dived his face to the chest that belonged to none other than Lhong.
Lhong put another arm to pull Type closer and deeper into his embrace. Type tears made Lhong's clothes dampen but the other guy didn't mind. He was just trying to comfort Type.
Type was having an overwhelming breakdown right now. All he needed was a shoulder to cry on, and Lhong provided it to him voluntarily.
Type's body was shaking as he poured out all of his emotion while jerking out his hot tears. Lhong was not even saying anything until Type had calmed down and found composure.
Once Type had stopped his tears, he pulled away from Lhong as he wiped away the trace of his sadness from his face. He took a very deep breath before he said, "Let's go."
Lhong nodded and followed Type getting out of the cottage. Type passed Tharn's SUV which he drove earlier to get here. He glanced at it only to see his own reflection through the tinted window.
He didn't cry for long but enough to give color to his nose. Type sniffed before he went to Lhong's car.
Type was already in passanger side when Lhong climbed onto the driver seat. "Ready?" Lhong asked as he started the car engine.
Type weakly nodded. Soon, the vehicle glided off the premises. Lhong was even thoughtful enough to tune in songs and set the volume higher so Type's sobs would not be heard.
Type tears started to swim in his eyes and rolled down when he closed his lids. His eyes felt hot when he did that so Type chose to throw his gaze outside the window and blinked once a while.
But his tears could even drop without having him closed the lids since his eyes produced them painstakingly without stopping. Sometimes Type would get a hitched breath between his silent sobs.
Surprisingly he didn't make any sound he thought he would make. But again, like people said, crying silently was more heartbreaking.
Type moved his palm to his left chest only to massage it, trying to soothe the pain. It had been there since he woke up in the morning. Hell, he almost cried as soon as he opened his eyes this morning, he had to squeeze himself to take a shower before even dawn came only to take care of waves of sorrow that had been embracing him since last night.
