The moment Type walked to the aisle, the noise died down slowly. All became silent, every step he took was accompanied by slow paced music. He lifted his head up and walked straight to where his soon to be husband awaited him.
Tharn didn't peek over Type's direction even once. He kept his back facing the other guy until Type finally stood next to him.
Type glanced a little towards his senior, he could see the grey area under his eyes, even the make-up could not cover it.
He realized that Tharn had not slept well or maybe he didn't get to sleep at all, just like himself.
They both were forced into this marriage. Type could call himself lucky since he had no lover, unlike his senior.
Tharn had a girlfriend since Type was only a freshmen. He heard the Prince had been in a 4-year relationship.
Type hadn't got a chance to check if Tharn's girlfriend was coming to their wedding or not.
Probably not. It would be too much to see, wouldn't it.
Since it was the Royale wedding, the Prime Minister would take their marriage vow. He began his speech how the monarchy would live long with a strong marriage, which is theirs he was talking about.
This marriage would secure The Suppasits on the throne, since by marrying into the family, The Kongthanin as one of the powerful aristrocrats, showed their support of The Suppasits to hold their throne higher.
Type was lost in his thought when the Prime Minister asked Tharn whether to take Type as his husband.
Luckily, Type was quick to pull out from his own daydream.
"Type..." That was the first time Tharn had ever called him. It was lowly husky and deep.
Tharn got a hold of Type's hand while continuing his vow, "I take you to be my partner for life, I promise above all else to live in truth with you. And to communicate fully and fearlesly, I give you my hand and my heart as a sanctuary of warmth and peace. And pledge my love, devotion, faith, and honor as I join my life to yours."
Type would cry if the vow was from his beloved. But it was not. And Tharn didn't even look he put too much thought while saying the vow.
Ah, he got it memorized too, huh. Type almost chuckled but he pursed his lips to hold it.
Then, finally it was the time for him to say his vow, "Tharn, of all people you've met on your journey and all the place you've been, somehow and someway, you ended up here with me. I used to think we met by chance but I know without a doubt that the universe put you in front of me because we were meant to spend our lives together...."
Type cringed before he continued, "I will not take our time together for granted. And because words cannot do it, I promise to show you for the rest of my life, how much I love you..."
The word tasted bitter while rolling off his tongue.
"....I promise to encourage you to follow your dreams. I promise to make you laugh whenever you are taking yourself too seriously... I.. promise to hold your hand through the good times and through the bad times... I promise to be loyal and faithful and to put you before all else...."
Type took a deep breath before he closed his vow, "...From this day forward, you'll never walk alone..."
He let out a relieved sigh when his successfully stated his vow after memorizing it for 3 days.
Type didn't realize he had been fixing his gaze on their intertwining hands. Slowly, he looked up and met with Tharn's dark eyes.
At first Type thought Tharn was glaring at him, but the longer time they held their gaze, he recognized how those eyes got softened for a split of second.
